Pukkelpop announces 13 new acts across the festival weekend!

Pukkelpop Festival Belgium 2023 news

BILLIE EILISH, YEARS & YEARS, YUNGBLUD, M83, MODERAT and many more, it’s all going to happen on Friday 18th August and now these two acts are joining the line up – ALTIN GÜN, the well-known Amsterdam-based psychedelic folk band that puts its own unique spin on Turkish songs from the 1960s and 1970s. They will be presenting their brand new album, due in March. Backstage at Pukkelpop, they’ll also encounter TV GIRL, the American indie pop band, who in turn have a passion for 60’s French pop, lo-fi beats and dark humour.

Saturday’s lineup was already a godsend thanks to ANGÈLE, ANNE-MARIE, LIMP BIZKIT, BICEP (LIVE), NOTHING BUT THIEVES and TURNSTILE – just to name a few. With these newly added acts, day 3 will be an even bigger gift for any music lover. Some 20 years ago, David and Stephen Dewaele wrote music history with 2MANYDJS and their groundbreaking mix album “As Heard on Radio Soulwax pt.2. The album was reissued late last year to celebrate this iconic anniversary. Anno 2023, the Belgian brothers-in-arms are still touring the world with their spectacular audiovisual mash-up show. Birthday cake has been ordered.

German Wunderkind BEN BÖHMER is racing through the melodic and progressive house scene like a whirlwind. His album ‘Begin Again’ and accompanying live show is a must see for any self-respecting dance lover.

When she first performed at Pukkelpop in 2012, young JESSIE WARE was still a timid poppy neo-soul talent. Ten years later, the British singer has grown into a true disco-pop queen.

TOM ODELL, the British singer-songwriter known for his signature song ‘Another Love’ was also added to the Pukkelpop lineup. Ten years after its original release, the song is again a worldwide success and often used as a protest hymn against the tragedies in Ukraine and Iran.

Other added acts on Saturday: AITCH, Manchester-based rapper with a knack for collabs and hits; LUUDE, Australian remix phenomenon known for his reworkings of ‘Big City Life,’ ‘Down Under feat. Colin Hay’ and ‘Oh My feat. Moby’ and LA-based magical pop trio MUNA.

On Sunday, 4 more acts were confirmed. They share the lineup with The Killers, Florence + The Machine, Bonobo, Dropkick Murphys and many more. Taking stage are British pop-punk star in the making, DYLAN, the young German indie rockers of GIANT ROOKS, KNOCKED LOOSE, metalcore band from Kentucky and VTSS, Polish techno talent flirting with industrial and electroclash. Picked up by the world-renowned Ninja Tune label where other PKP acts Bonobo and Bicep have their work address too.
