Innings Festival is bringing an eclectic mix of rock icons, pop-punk favourites and party-starting hits to Tempe, Arizona, with THE STROKES, PITBULL and ALANIS MORISSETTE announced as the headliners for its 2027 edition. The three-day festival returns to Tempe Beach Park and Arts Park from 26 to 28 February, with a line-up that promises plenty of variety across the weekend.
Leading the charge are three artists with very different musical identities. THE STROKES will bring their unmistakable New York indie-rock sound, while PITBULL is set to turn the festival into a giant party with his catalogue of global hits. ALANIS MORISSETTE, meanwhile, adds a powerhouse alternative-rock presence, with songs that have remained fixtures of the genre for decades.
The supporting bill is equally wide-ranging. PIERCE THE VEIL, THE NEIGHBOURHOOD and 5 SECONDS OF SUMMER bring modern rock and pop-punk appeal, while TRAIN will deliver a collection of radio favourites. DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE and INTERPOL offer a darker, more atmospheric edge, with YELLOWCARD and HOT MULLIGAN adding further energy for fans of guitar-driven music.
There is plenty more to explore across the first announcement. 4 NON BLONDES, SPOON, SHAGGY and PASSION PIT join the bill, helping make this one of the more stylistically diverse editions of Innings Festival to date. With indie, alternative, pop, ska-influenced sounds and heavier modern rock represented, the festival is building a programme designed to reach well beyond a single musical scene.
BASEBALL LEGENDS JOIN THE LINE-UP
As ever, Innings Festival is about more than the music. Baseball is at the heart of the event’s identity, and the 2027 edition will feature appearances by a host of celebrated players and personalities.
Among those announced are DARRYL STRAWBERRY, DEXTER FOWLER, DAVID JUSTICE, NELSON CRUZ, ROLLIE FINGERS and JOE KELLY, alongside Olympic medallist and ESPN analyst JESSICA MENDOZA. Fans can also expect interactive baseball activities, bringing a sporting dimension to the festival experience.
Two popular talk and entertainment features are returning as well. ALL-STAR JAM, hosted by former Major League Baseball pitcher Jake Peavy, will be back, as will OFF THE MOUND WITH RYAN DEMPSTER, featuring live interviews and special performances from surprise guests, including artists from the festival line-up.
The format gives Innings a distinctive place in the US festival calendar, combining live music with opportunities to get closer to baseball personalities and take part in activities away from the stages.

THREE DAYS IN TEMPE
Set beside Tempe Town Lake, the festival will once again bring music fans to the Arizona waterfront for a late-winter weekend of performances, sporting activities and outdoor entertainment. Organisers have also confirmed that the festival will feature three stages, with no overlapping sets planned, allowing fans to catch the full programme without having to choose between simultaneous performances.
The festival runs from Friday 26 February to Sunday 28 February 2027, with gates scheduled to open at midday each day and performances continuing into the evening.
With THE STROKES, PITBULL and ALANIS MORISSETTE at the top of the bill, plus a supporting cast spanning several generations of alternative, indie and pop, Innings Festival 2027 is shaping up to be a compelling start to the US festival season. Add the baseball legends, live interviews and interactive activities, and Tempe has another weekend that brings two very different worlds together.
