December is gift month, and festival organisers are happy to join in! Under the Christmas tree at Rock Werchter HQ, 21 brand-new acts are beautifully wrapped, waiting to be discovered. The presents can be opened today: a mix of international names and exciting newcomers, from danceable pop to electrifying guitars. These new names already promise a summer filled with unforgettable festival moments. The countdown has begun!
On Thursday 2 July JADE, BLOOD INCANTATION, TOM SMITH and YARD ACT joined the bill.
New for Friday 3 July are FKA TWIGS, WOLF ALICE, KINGFISHR, FRANZ FERDINAND, SOCIAL DISTORTION, AGNES OBEL and PARIS PALOMA.
On Saturday 4 July, RENEÉ RAPP, DOGSTAR, CMAT, BEIRUT and KOKOROKO will be there.
There are also new names for Sunday 5 July. RISE AGAINST, DAVID BYRNE, MOGWAI, SIERRA FERRELL and JOY CROOKES will stop by the Festivalpark.
