Nummijärvi Lake in Finland, is located in the municipality of Kauhajoki in the province of South Ostrobothnia, in the southwestern part of the country, 270 km northwest of the capital city of Helsinki. Nummijärvi is 160.5 meters above sea level. The area is 4.78 square kilometers and the shoreline is 14.62 kilometers long
The lake is part of the Karvia å main catchment area. In the surroundings around Nummijärvi mainly coniferous forest grows. It stretches 4.8 kilometers in a north-south direction, and 2.0 kilometers in an east-west direction.
