Palm Tree Music Festival Aspen is turning five, and it is celebrating with a line-up designed for a winter weekend of big electronic sounds, mountain views and après-ski energy.
The festival returns to Rio Grande Park in downtown Aspen on February 19th and 20th 2027, with global stars THE CHAINSMOKERS returning to headline alongside UNDER CONSTRUCTION, the high-energy collaboration between FISHER and Chris Lake.
Also joining the fifth anniversary line-up are DISCO LINES, HUGEL, THE MARTINEZ BROTHERS and MAX STYLER, with more artists still to be announced.
THE CHAINSMOKERS RETURN TO ASPEN
THE CHAINSMOKERS have become regulars at the world’s biggest festivals, but their return to Palm Tree Music Festival Aspen has a particularly fitting feel. The duo have built a career around huge dance records that have crossed effortlessly into mainstream pop, including Closer, Don’t Let Me Down, Something Just Like This and Paris.
Their appearance will give the fifth anniversary edition a familiar headline act, while the other half of the top bill takes things in a rather different direction.
UNDER CONSTRUCTION BRINGS FISHER AND CHRIS LAKE TOGETHER
Under Construction, the collaboration between Australian DJ and producer FISHER and British house heavyweight CHRIS LAKE, will also headline the festival. The project has become known for its energetic approach to house music and has developed into a major live attraction in its own right. Having both artists behind the decks makes Under Construction a natural fit for an Aspen festival built around electronic music, and its appearance adds a strong club influence to the anniversary line-up.
MORE THAN JUST THE MUSIC
Palm Tree Music Festival Aspen has always been about combining music with the experience of being in one of America’s best known ski destinations. Festivalgoers can add discounted Aspen Snowmass ski passes to their tickets, with passes valid across all four mountains. The festival will also feature heated VIP areas, front-row and off-snow viewing, food and drink options and Palm Tree merchandise.
For those looking for something even more exclusive, The Palm Club returns with heated covered tables, dedicated hosts, bottle service and food from Matsuhisa and Yuki Aspen. The festival’s combination of electronic music, skiing and hospitality has helped give the Aspen edition its own identity within the wider Palm Tree festival series.
Five years in, Palm Tree Music Festival Aspen has established a formula that is difficult to replicate elsewhere: major electronic artists, a small-scale festival atmosphere and the Rocky Mountains providing the backdrop.
For 2027, it is adding another chapter with The Chainsmokers and Under Construction leading the celebrations.
