Germany’s legendary ROCK AM RING and its sister festival ROCK IM PARK have expanded their 2027 line-ups with another 24 acts, adding a heavyweight mix of metalcore, post-hardcore, electronic rock and punk to both festivals.
The twin festivals have announced their second wave of bands, bringing the total number of confirmed acts to 50. The same line-up will play at both events, with ROCK AM RING returning to the Nürburgring and ROCK IM PARK taking place in Nuremberg over the same weekend in June.

Leading the latest announcement are KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, PENDULUM, JINJER and SLEEPING WITH SIRENS. It is a diverse group of additions, spanning metalcore pioneers, genre-blending electronic rock, progressive metal and post-hardcore, with plenty more for fans to discover further down the bill.
PENDULUM should be a particularly interesting addition for anyone who enjoys their rock with an electronic edge. The Australian act has built a reputation for combining drum and bass with huge riffs and explosive live production, making them a natural fit for a festival known for high-energy performances. Meanwhile, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE bring the kind of metalcore intensity that has influenced an entire generation of heavy bands, while JINJER arrive with their technically ambitious sound and the formidable vocals of Tatiana Shmayluk.

There is plenty for the emo and post-hardcore crowd, too. SLEEPING WITH SIRENS, SILVERSTEIN, THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA and THE AMITY AFFLICTION add some serious weight to that side of the programme. HOLDING ABSENCE, NOVELISTS, CURRENTS and FROM ASHES TO NEW represent a newer generation of heavy music, ensuring the announcement is not simply a roll call of established names.
Hardcore fans have reason to be pleased as well, with GUILT TRIP and SPEED joining the bill. Elsewhere, German punk outfit BETONTOD will bring their own brand of rebellious energy, while CLUTCH and HIGHLY SUSPECT add alternative and blues-inflected rock. AS DECEMBER FALLS, CENOBIA, HAYWIRE, MITTEL ALTA, SHOWING TEETH and THE PRETTY WILD complete the latest wave, alongside ALEXANDER MARCUS and TBS, adding further variety to the programme.
The new additions join an already formidable line-up led by BLINK-182, BRING ME THE HORIZON and DIE TOTEN HOSEN. Other confirmed names include FAITH NO MORE, THE PRODIGY, PARKWAY DRIVE, EVANESCENCE, BILLY TALENT and TURNSTILE, giving the festival a broad spread of punk, alternative, metal and electronic influences.
Rock am Ring returns to the Nürburgring from 4th – 6th June 2027, running alongside its sister festival, Rock im Park.
There are also changes planned for the festival site itself. A revised layout, a new location for the Orbit Stage and increased toilet capacity are intended to improve movement around the grounds and reduce congestion between performances.
With 50 bands now confirmed and more announcements expected, Rock am Ring 2027 is shaping up to be another major gathering for rock and metal fans. The latest wave adds depth across several corners of the scene, while the combination of established favourites and newer acts gives festivalgoers plenty of reasons to start planning their weekend.
