Eleven new names join the Pukkelpop 2023 line up, kicking off with LIMP BIZKIT. On Saturday 19th August they will take the stage with a near-perfect set list: iconic hits, world-famous riffs and unique rap rock rant anthems. Just so you know: the Bizkit are looking leaner and meaner than ever for their fifth Pukkelpop appearance!
This morning BAZART’S Mathieu spoiled the surprise on radio station Studio Brussel so just to make it official: yes, BAZART will be joining Pukkelpop this summer. They are slotted on Friday 18th August and will be sharing the Pukkelpop Main Stage with the likes of BILLIE EILISH, YUNGBLUD and YEARS & YEARS.
With an average of three shows abroad per week, the leading lady of Belgian techno AMELIE LENS has staked her place among the world’s elite. She’s only hitting a few European festivals this summer and Pukkelpop is one of them! All you have to do is show up. See you on Friday 18th August in the Boiler Room.
TikTok favourite STEVE LACY has also been to Pukkelpop before: in 2016 as the guitarist for alt R&B collective The Internet. The 24-year-old multi-instrumentalist has meanwhile struck out on his own, raking in a Grammy along the way for Best Progressive R&B album. Rock, R&B, funk, jazz, psych and hip hop: Lacy is at home in just about any genre and on Saturday he will undoubtedly leave Pukkelpop hoarse and speechless again. The following day Anglo-Guyanese rapper LOYLE CARNER is dropping by to introduce his universally acclaimed third album ‘hugo’. Topics: fatherhood, a pandemic and his bicultural background. At times raw and edgy, at times brittle and frail, at all times impressively honest.
Dancing dreamily towards expansive landscapes and sun-drenched beaches is what has made BONOBO so irresistible these last two decades. Last year’s ‘Fragments’ was nominated for two Grammy’s, including ‘Best Dance/Electronic Music Album’. Billed on Pukkelpop Sunday, just like indie pop phenomenon GIRL IN RED. She first played Pukkelpop in 2019 on the Lift stage. Meanwhile Norwegian Marie Ulven has become the queer icon of the TikTok generation, with the ambition of conquering the global indie rock scene.
Also added to the roster are EZRA COLLECTIVE, the UK jazz heroes that recently played a sold-out AB in Brussels, the raw Australian punk rock of AMYL AND THE SNIFFERS, Brit pop infused post-punk with HIGH VIS and the militant hardcore of STICK TO YOUR GUNS.
