Isle Of Wight Festival 2027: Fatboy Slim, Robbie Williams And Kings Of Leon Lead Huge First Announcement!

UK Isle of Wight Festival 2027 news

The Isle of Wight Festival is setting up a major summer celebration, with FATBOY SLIM, ROBBIE WILLIAMS and KINGS OF LEON confirmed as headliners for its 2027 edition. Returning to Seaclose Park from 17 to 20 June, the festival will mark the 25th edition since its revival in 2002 with a first wave of artists spanning indie rock, dance, pop and classic hits.

The three headliners bring very different sounds to the island. FATBOY SLIM will launch the weekend’s headline action on Friday, bringing his unmistakable big-beat sound and a catalogue of dancefloor favourites including Praise You and Right Here, Right Now. Few artists can turn a festival field into one enormous party quite like Norman Cook, making his appearance a fitting way to kick off the weekend.

Saturday belongs to ROBBIE WILLIAMS, whose remarkable career has delivered generations of chart hits, from Angels and Rock DJ to Let Me Entertain You. With a reputation for larger-than-life performances and an extensive back catalogue, his headline set promises a huge singalong under the summer sky.

Closing the festival on Sunday 20 June, KINGS OF LEON bring their arena-sized alternative rock to Seaclose Park. The Grammy and BRIT Award-winning band have built a formidable live reputation through songs such as Sex on Fire and Use Somebody, alongside a run of acclaimed albums that has taken them to the top of festival bills around the world.

A FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT PACKED WITH VARIETY
Beyond the headliners, the first announcement features a strong mix of established festival favourites and newer names. BASTILLE, COURTEENERS and KAISER CHIEFS bring plenty of indie and alternative anthems, while RUDIMENTAL and BECKY HILL add a dance-focused edge to the bill.

Rising British singer-songwriter MYLES SMITH, who won the BRITs Rising Star award in 2025, joins the line-up alongside Australian pop-rock band 5 SECONDS OF SUMMER and Irish rock group INHALER. The announcement also includes JACK SAVORETTI, whose soulful songwriting has earned him a loyal following, and Swedish favourites THE CARDIGANS, best known for enduring hits including Lovefool and My Favourite Game.

There is a welcome dose of nostalgia in the mix, too. T’PAU, whose hit China in Your Hand remains a defining song of the late eighties, will appear alongside SCOUTING FOR GIRLS, while THE LILACS represent the new wave of British indie bands making their mark.

The wider bill also features CRUZ BECKHAM & THE BREAKERS, Dublin singer-songwriter AARON ROWE, KEO, LOGICALTRAMP and RICK PARFITT JNR BAND. With Logicaltramp recreating the music of Supertramp, the announcement reaches beyond contemporary chart names to embrace the classic songs and musicianship that have long been part of the festival’s appeal.

More acts are still to be announced, leaving plenty of room for the programme to develop in the coming months.

MORE THAN JUST THE MAIN STAGE

The Isle of Wight Festival has always offered more than a succession of headline performances, and the 2027 event will once again feature a broad range of entertainment away from the Main Stage. Festival spaces include Sky Open House, the retro sounds of Electro Love, and Hipshaker Lounge, which explores funk, soul, ska and indie through DJs, vinyl sessions and dance classes.

Elsewhere, visitors can discover the Kashmir Café, supported by Island volunteers, the vintage-inspired Intoxicated Tea Rooms and the quieter woodland setting of Sound of Silence. Families will also have plenty to explore, with Kidzone offering activities including theatre, magic, circus workshops, crafts and discos.

The festival’s connection with the island remains central to its character, bringing international headliners together with local venues, businesses and community initiatives for a weekend that stretches well beyond the music.

With FATBOY SLIM, ROBBIE WILLIAMS and KINGS OF LEON at the top of the bill, and BASTILLE, COURTEENERS, BECKY HILL, MYLES SMITH and many more already confirmed, the first announcement gives fans plenty to look forward to. Further artists are expected to join the programme as the countdown to summer continues.
