Country music fans in Glasgow have plenty to look forward to when Country 2 Country returns to the OVO Hydro from 12th to 14th March 2027. The three day celebration brings together some of the biggest names in modern country, alongside a strong selection of rising artists and some of the genre’s most exciting new voices.
Friday gets the weekend off to a serious start with RILEY GREEN at the top of the bill. Green has become one of the most recognisable names in contemporary country, and his Glasgow appearance is likely to be one of the weekend’s big talking points. Alongside him comes MIDLAND, bringing their polished take on classic country and a sound that feels made for a big festival crowd.
DASHA also joins Friday’s line-up, adding a younger and more modern edge to the day, while EMILY ANN ROBERTS, MACK GEIGER, BENNY G, OWEN RIEGLING and JASON SCOTT & THE HIGH HEAT round out a packed opening day. It is a line-up that moves comfortably between established stars and artists who are still making their mark.
Saturday turns things up another notch with JELLY ROLL taking centre stage. Few artists have blurred the boundaries between country, rock, hip hop and southern music quite as successfully, and his Glasgow appearance gives the second night a headline act with plenty of crossover appeal.
COLE SWINDELL follows on the bill, bringing a more traditional country songwriting style to the weekend, while CHASE MATTHEW continues the current generation’s fascination with modern Southern country. KASHUS CULPEPPER and LACI KAYE BOOTH add two more distinctive voices to the Saturday programme, with GREYLAND JAMES, LANIE GARDNER and BELLES completing the day’s line-up.
Then comes Sunday, with ASHLEY MCBRYDE closing out the Glasgow weekend. McBryde has built a reputation for direct, honest country songwriting and powerful live performances, making her a fitting choice to bring three days of music to a close.
She is joined by COOPER ALAN, another artist who has made a name for himself by connecting traditional country influences with a distinctly modern approach. JACKSON DEAN, CARTER FAITH and BLAKE WHITEN add even more variety to the Sunday bill, while LATE NIGHT THOUGHTS, COLIN LYNCH and CHANDLER WALTERS feature on the CMA Spotlight Stage.
One of the most appealing things about the Glasgow line-up is the balance between established names and artists who are still on the way up. There is plenty here for fans who want the big festival moments, but the smaller acts could prove just as important for anyone looking to discover their next favourite artist.
That is part of what makes C2C such a fixture in the UK country calendar. Across three days, the festival gives audiences the chance to move between different generations and styles of country without ever straying too far from the genre’s roots.
With RILEY GREEN, JELLY ROLL and ASHLEY MCBRYDE heading up the three days, Glasgow is set for a weekend that covers a broad stretch of the modern country landscape. From Nashville favourites to emerging names and the artists appearing on the Spotlight Stage, C2C 2027 looks set to make the OVO Hydro a very busy place for country fans in March.
