BST Hyde Park reveals the legendary acts and exciting newcomers to complete the show’s line-up; NILE RODGERS & CHIC, GROOVE ARMADA (DJ SET), SOPHIE GREY., SISTRA, HARRISON, WENDY BEVAN and SAM SCHERDEL join the iconic headliners and their special guests SCISSOR SISTERS on the bill.
NILE RODGERS is one of music’s most iconic and enduring forces, a multiple Grammy Award winner, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Chairman and inductee of the Songwriters Hall of Fame, songwriter, composer, producer, and guitarist whose influence has stretched across generations and cultures. As co-founder of CHIC alongside legendary bassist Bernard Edwards, he created “Le Freak,” the biggest-selling single in Atlantic Records history, and “Good Times,” which laid the very DNA for hip-hop itself.
GROOVE ARMADA is an institution. For more than three decades, they have followed their own musical path, evolving from London’s underground club and free-rave scenes into one of the UK’s most influential electronic music acts. Formed by longtime friends Andy Cato and Tom Findlay, the duo broke through with landmark releases including Northern Star (1998), Vertigo (1999), Goodbye Country (Hello Nightclub) (2001) and Lovebox (2002), producing enduring classics such as “At The River”, “I See You Baby”, “Superstylin’” and “My Friend”.
SOPHIE GREY. (the period is intentional) is taking on the world one song at a time armed with her synth-axe and a propensity for writing, arranging, performing AND producing her own modern electro-inspired music. SOPHIE has taken her melodic-electronic sound across North America and Europe both headlining and opening for Sting, Shaggy and Alison Moyet. She’s a classically-trained pianist and keyboardist who studied piano performance at the Colburn School in Los Angeles.

SISTRA are a London-based sister duo making emotional electronic music, writing songs for each other, saying what the other can’t. They’ve supported Rose Gray’s UK tour, played All Points East and Latitude Festival, and sold out headline shows at Colours and Camden Assembly. Winners of the PRS Open Fund, their music has received continued support from Mollie King’s Future Pop on BBC Radio 1 and Spotify playlists. Going from strength to strength, their anticipated debut album, She Won’t Let Go, came out in May, so Hyde Park is in for a treat with new music live.
HARRISON is a UK producer, vocalist and DJ at the centre of a global breakout moment. Blending electronic precision with emotional pop intensity, his sound translates from streaming platforms to stadiums and major live events worldwide.
WENDY BEVAN is a British multidisciplinary artist, musician, photographer and filmmaker whose work blends music, visual art and immersive performance. Known for her cinematic, ethereal aesthetic, she has performed across the UK and Europe at festivals including Latitude Festival and Secret Garden Party, and at venues such as the Institute of Contemporary Arts. As a singer, violinist and composer, she has collaborated with artists including Howie B and Paul Simm. A close collaborator with our headliners, in 2021, Bevan teamed up with Nick Rhodes on the acclaimed four-part, 52-track Astronomia project, a series of cinematic soundscapes inspired by the universe.
Dubbed the “South Yorkshire Springsteen”, with hook laden, epic and energetic songs, all delivered with his trademark growl, soulful songwriter SAM SCHERDEL has been penning music since his early teens. With his gravelly voice contributing to his unique blueprint; his music is never too far strayed from the Rock and Alternative resonances that were the background of his youth.
