Echelon Festival is already building excitement for its 2027 edition, with tickets going on sale following an exceptionally strong start to the advance sales. Organisers have also confirmed two major additions for next summer: the arrival of UNREAL’s Monumental Stage and a new discounted ticket aimed at younger festivalgoers.
Taking place on 13th and 14th August 2027, Echelon will return to the former US military barracks in Bad Aibling, Germany, under the theme Forbidden Grounds 2027. Following a sold out 2026 edition, demand for next year’s festival is already running high, with the limited loyalty ticket allocation selling out in a very short space of time.
UNREAL BRINGS ITS MONUMENTAL STAGE TO ECHELON
One of the biggest announcements for 2027 is a new partnership with UNREAL, the internationally recognised techno brand. As part of its Monumental Stage Tour, UNREAL will bring its distinctive stage concept to Echelon, making the festival one of just four events in Germany selected for the 2027 tour.
The collaboration means festivalgoers can look forward to two full days of UNREAL at Echelon, adding another major attraction to a weekend dedicated to electronic music.
Further details about the stage and the artists performing on it will be announced at a later date. For now, the confirmation gives fans another reason to look forward to what is shaping up to be a significant year for the festival.
NEW DISCOUNTED TICKET FOR YOUNGER FANS
Echelon is also introducing a new Youngster Ticket, designed to make the full festival experience more accessible to fans aged between 18 and 21.
The limited ticket includes entry for both days of the festival as well as camping, offering younger electronic music fans a more affordable way to experience the weekend. Availability will be restricted to a limited allocation, with the tickets offered at a reduced price.
With camping included, the new option should appeal to younger visitors who want to make the most of the festival without stretching their budget too far.
STRONG DEMAND FOLLOWING A SOLD OUT 2026 EDITION
The 2026 festival sold out completely, and the early signs suggest that interest in 2027 is just as strong. After the limited loyalty allocation disappeared quickly, general ticket sales opened on 1 October and exceeded previous opening sales figures by a considerable margin during the first few days.
Patrick Gallenmüller, organiser and managing director of Permanent Entertainment GmbH, said the strong start reflected the importance Echelon had established within its community. He added that the response was encouraging the team to continue developing the festival for 2027.
Visitors can once again expect two days of international and German artists, a wide range of electronic music styles and individually designed stage environments across the historic former military site.
With the Monumental Stage partnership now confirmed, a new ticket option for younger fans and demand already gathering pace, Echelon Festival 2027 is beginning to take shape.
Echelon Festival 2027 takes place on 13th and 14th August in Bad Aibling, Germany. More information about the line up, the Monumental Stage and ticket availability is expected in the coming months.
