Nibe Festival has made a strong start to its 2027 line up, announcing three major Danish acts for next summer. THOMAS HELMIG, CHRISTOPHER and HUGORM will all head to Skalskoven for four days of music, with the festival taking place from 30th June to 3rd July 2027.
The first name announced was Danish pop legend THOMAS HELMIG, who will open the festival on Wednesday 30th June.
With more than four decades in Danish music, Helmig is one of the country’s best known and most enduring artists. His songs have become part of the soundtrack of Danish pop, making his return to Nibe a particularly fitting booking. Helmig last appeared at Nibe Festival in 2018 and will return to the forest with a huge catalogue of much loved songs and plenty of memories for festival goers who have followed his career over the years.

The festival has also confirmed that CHRISTOPHER will perform on Thursday 1st July.
CHRISTOPHER has become one of Denmark’s biggest pop stars over the past decade, building a huge following at home and an international audience through songs including Told You So, Irony, Bad and A Beautiful Life.
His profile grew even further following the success of the Netflix film A Beautiful Life, while his live shows have continued to attract huge crowds. His appearance at Nibe has also been a long time coming, with Christopher reportedly one of the artists most requested by the festival’s audience.

Friday 2nd July will see HUGORM take to the stage, bringing their energetic and unpredictable live show to the festival.
Fronted by Simon Kvamm alongside Morten Gorm and Árni Bergmann, HUGORM have established themselves as one of the most distinctive live acts on the Danish music scene. Their concerts are known for their energy, spontaneity and close connection with the audience.
The band are currently promoting their latest album, HUGGET I STEN, and will head out on a sold out Danish tour in spring 2027 before making their way to Nibe.

HUGORM are certainly one of the bands that understand how to create a real sense of community at their concerts. With THOMAS HELMIG, CHRISTOPHER and HUGORM already confirmed, Nibe Festival 2027 is off to a promising start. There are still plenty more names to come, but the festival has already lined up three very different acts that should bring plenty of variety to next summer’s programme.
