WE Fest is heading back to Detroit Lakes in Minnesota in 2027 with a line-up that brings together country superstars, modern favourites and a healthy dose of Southern grit. Running from 4th to 7th August 2027 at Soo Pass Ranch, WE Fest has revealed a first wave of artists led by TIM MCGRAW, THE RED CLAY STRAYS and RILEY GREEN.
And if the festival’s new slogan is anything to go by, the organisers are aiming for nothing less than Country Heaven in ’27.
THREE VERY DIFFERENT HEADLINERS
TIM MCGRAW needs little introduction. One of country music’s biggest names, his appearance gives the festival a genuine heavyweight headliner capable of bringing decades of hits to the Minnesota countryside.
Then there is THE RED CLAY STRAYS, whose bluesy, Southern rock influenced take on country has helped them build a rapidly growing following. Their presence gives the line-up a completely different edge.
RILEY GREEN completes the headline trio, bringing his traditional country influences and modern Southern storytelling to the main stage.
But the rest of the announcement is just as interesting – SAM BARBER, RUSSELL DICKERSON, DUSTIN LYNCH, MIDLAND, OLE 60, WAYLON WYATT, BRAXTON KEITH, GEORGE BIRGE, NEAL MCCOY, TRACY BYRD, KASSI ASHTON, TYCE DELK and SELA CAMPBELL are among the other artists already confirmed, with more still to come.
There is plenty of room for both established country names and newer artists to share the same stage, which feels particularly appropriate for a festival with WE Fest’s long history.
FOUR DAYS IN THE MINNESOTA COUNTRYSIDE
WE Fest is not simply a weekend of concerts. The Soo Pass Ranch setting and camping culture are a huge part of the experience, turning the festival into something closer to a temporary country music town. That makes the four day run particularly appealing for fans who want to spend more than a few hours in front of a stage.
The 2027 announcement also promises further artists, meaning this is only the beginning of what will eventually become a much bigger line-up.
For WE Fest, the message for 2027 is pretty simple: bring your boots, find a patch of Minnesota countryside and settle in.
