TAME IMPALA are set to bring their psychedelic pop and electronic-infused sound to Portugal next summer, with the project confirmed for the NOS Stage on July 10th at the 19th edition of NOS Alive.
The announcement marks the first major confirmation for the festival’s 2027 lineup and puts one of contemporary music’s most celebrated acts at the centre of its opening wave of artists.
The news arrives during Tame Impala’s current US tour, following the release of Deadbeat in October 2025. The album has already delivered major international success, with “Loser” reaching No. 1 on the Global Spotify Chart and breaking into the Billboard Hot 100 Top 25. “Dracula (Jennie Remix)” has also remained in the Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 and earned a VMA nomination for Best Alternative Song.
At the heart of TAME IMPALA is Australian multi-instrumentalist and producer Kevin Parker. Known for his meticulous approach to songwriting and production, Parker has built the project around his ability to play instruments, compose, record, produce, mix and engineer much of the music himself.
Deadbeat, Tame Impala’s fifth album, sees Parker pushing further into a hypnotic “club-psych” territory, blending psychedelic textures with dancefloor-ready production. The result is another chapter in an evolving sound that has helped make Tame Impala one of the most influential musical projects of the past decade.
Parker’s achievements reflect that global impact. He has collected 13 ARIA Awards from 27 nominations in Australia, alongside a BRIT Award for Best International Group and nominations at the Billboard Music Awards and American Music Awards.
Tame Impala’s enormous streaming success is perhaps best represented by “The Less I Know The Better,” one of the project’s defining tracks. The song has surpassed two billion streams and earned gold and platinum certifications across multiple territories.
TAME IMPALA will perform on July 10th 2027, as NOS Alive returns to the Passeio Marítimo de Algés for three days of live music on July 8, 9 and 10. With the festival now beginning to reveal its 2027 lineup, one thing is already clear: the next edition is starting on a very high note.
