EXIT to Montenegro is reshaping the European festival landscape this summer with two major free-to-attend events on Montenegro’s Adriatic coast, bringing together a strong lineup of leading global electronic music artists including: CHARLOTTE DE WITTE, PEGGY GOU, HUGEL, JAMIE JONES, ARGY, STEPHAN BODZIN, MONOLINK, MACEO PLEX, ENRICO SANGIULIANO, JOHN NEWMAN, RPR SOUNDSYSTEM and AWEN
The two main festival weekends will take place in Montenegro this summer: 3rd – 6th July at Long Beach (Velika Plaža) in Ulcinj, followed by 28th – 31st August at Bečići Beach in Budva.
The first festival weekend takes place at Long Beach (Velika Plaža) in Ulcinj, with the main programme running from 3rd – 6th July led by ARGY, JAMIE JONES, MACEO PLEX, MONOLINK, STEPHAN BODZIN, AWEN and more.
Stretching over 13 kilometres, Long Beach is one of Europe’s longest sandy beaches and a popular kitesurfing destination, known for its beach clubs and sunset bars. The programme will focus on a more organic festival experience, centred on music, nature, extreme sports and the coastal landscape, creating a distinctive open-air setting for a unique experience.
As organisers note: “Under the tagline: ‘No LED, no SFX, no BS! Just pure music, sunsets, and sea,’ we’re returning to the roots of club culture at a time when production often overshadows the music.”
As one of the last undeveloped stretches of coastline in the Mediterranean, particular care will be taken to preserve the area’s natural ecosystem.
The second festival weekend moves to Bečići Beach in Budva, Montenegro’s tourism capital, with the main programme running from 28th – 31st August. The August edition will be headlined by CHARLOTTE DE WITTE, PEGGY GOU, HUGEL, ENRICO SANGIULIANO and JOHN NEWMAN, who will debut his new live show, with additional acts to be announced soon.
Warm-up events will take place ahead of each festival weekend, setting the tone and building momentum across both locations, running from 1–3 July at Long Beach and 24–27 August at Bečići Beach, leading into each respective main programme.
Much of the programme draws on the electronic music heritage of EXIT’s acclaimed Dance Arena, widely regarded as one of the world’s leading dancefloors.
Both festivals will be free to attend with prior registration. As part of EXIT Festival’s World Tour 2026, EXIT to Montenegro is designed to extend Montenegro’s tourism season and support the growth of music tourism. Prime Minister of Montenegro, Milojko Spajić, previously stated that “The project is expected to generate more than 210,000 overnight stays and over €40 million in tourism revenue, positioning Montenegro as an epicentre of the global music scene this summer.”
