A STAR-STUDDED LINEUP: FROM ROCK LEGENDS TO RISING STARS
The 2026 headliners are a masterclass in genre-blending excellence. Leading the charge is global rock icon JACK WHITE, whose high-voltage performance is set to be a festival highlight. Joining him are the revitalized soul-rock powerhouses ALABAMA SHAKES, making a highly anticipated appearance that is sure to resonate across the 600-acre park.
Psych-folk quartet LORD HURON rounds out the top billing, bringing their cinematic, atmospheric soundscapes to the picturesque Buffalo-Niagara region. But the talent doesn’t stop there. The 2026 roster includes:
* Alt-Rock Heroes: The legendary PIXIES and indie-folk stalwarts THE HEAD AND THE HEART.
* Viral Sensations & Rising Talents: Breakout artist JESSE WELLES, indie-rockers FLIPTURN and the soulful CHANCE PEÑA.
* Groove & Soul: ST. PAUL AND THE BROKEN BONES, ANDY FRASCO & THE U.N., and the vibrant REBIRTH BRASS BAND.

Whether you are a fan of indie rock, folk, blues, or bluegrass, Borderland’s eclectic mix of over 30 acts ensures there is a soundtrack for everyone.
MORE THAN JUST MUSIC: THE BORDERLAND EXPERIENCE
Founded by East Aurora native Jennifer Brazill, Borderland is intentionally designed to be an independent, community-focused event. Set against the historic backdrop of Knox Farm State Park, the festival offers a “full-weekend playground”.
Beyond the multiple stages, fans can wander through Artisan Alley, a pop-up bazaar featuring dozens of local makers, craft vendors, and regional breweries. Interactive activations like axe throwing, virtual reality, and dedicated Kids Zones make this a truly all-ages experience and remember, children under 10 get in free for General Admission.
One of Borderland’s most defining features is its “green” heart. The festival has been recognized with the Environmental Stewardship Award from New York State. In 2024 alone, the event saved over 43,000 plastic bottles through its water refill stations and diverted nearly 1,900 lbs of waste to composting. Attendees are encouraged to bring reusable bottles and take advantage of the on-site bike racks to help reduce the festival’s carbon footprint.
WHY BORDERLAND 2026 IS A MUST-ATTEND
As it enters its 8th year, Borderland Festival remains a rare gem in the festival circuit—an event that feels massive in talent but intimate in spirit. By pairing world-class headliners like Jack White and Alabama Shakes with a deep commitment to local culture and environmental responsibility, it offers a festival experience that is as meaningful as it is entertaining.
