This summer, one of Sweden’s foremost rock bands will make a long-awaited Sweden Rock debut. Fagersta’s THE HIVES have been one of Sweden’s biggest rock exports for almost as long as the festival has existed, so this will be a concert that many, including the band themselves, have been eagerly anticipating.
Among the other additions to this summer’s lineup are the genre-crossing Americans EXTREME, heavy metal heroes HAMMERFALL, guitar pioneer Michael Schenker’s band MSG, death metal legends DISMEMBER, melodious yet technically advanced WINGER, humorous party rockers THE DARKNESS, 80s enthusiasts NESTOR, a world-exclusive reunion performance with the sleazy cult band SWEDISH EROTICA.
Confirmed for the festival are also TREAT, THE HAUNTED, IGORRR and DREAM EVIL.
More than 50 additional acts remain to be announced.
