CHARLOTTE DE WITTE was recently named one of the world’s absolute best DJs, as well as the best female DJ, and now she is at the top of the bill for NorthSide 2026. The Belgian techno star released her long-awaited debut album just a few months ago, a significant step in a career that already spans more than 15 years. The album has been praised by critics and shows a solid portrait of a DJ at the top of her craft. Charlotte de Witte will deliver dark, hard and pulsating techno that will undoubtedly make the ground beneath NorthSide vibrate.

BIG THIEF is one of the most important and sought-after live bands on the modern indie scene, and at NorthSide it will be a moment you will not soon forget. In 2025 they released the album Double Infinity, which received great praise from critics in Denmark and cemented their ability to write and create songs. With their special blend of folk intimacy, explosive rock and poetic presence, the band leaves a big impression on their audience.

British singer Sienna Spiro and the legendary Scottish band PRIMAL SCREAM will also be coming to NorthSide 2026. Despite her young age, Sienna Spiro has already received great recognition from leading music media for her breathtaking vocals, and has been nominated for the Brit Awards 2026 Critic’s Choice Award and has been the Unmissable of the Week on P3.

PRIMAL SCREAM, fronted by Bobby Gillespie, has achieved cult status over the decades for their enormous influence on British rock, indie and electronic music and promises to deliver an unforgettable live experience.

From Denmark, two strong live bands, BLAUE BLUME AND PATINA, with vastly different sound universes, will deliver phenomenal performances at NorthSide 2026. Blaue Blume has been among Denmark’s best live bands for over 10 years and made a significant change at the beginning of 2025 with their first Danish-language album, which encapsulates the melancholy and light of everyday life. That same year, Patina proved why they are one of the country’s most vibrant pop-rock bands, receiving the Nutidens Unge award, and as Steffen Brandt said: “They draw the future we live in – fragile, arrogant, with hope and life energy.”

NorthSide 2026 is also expanding with three international artists and one Danish one: GOOSE, an experimental American jam band that draws inspiration from everything from psychedelic rock and pop to funk and folk. The British band, LOTTERY WINNERS, whose energetic indie pop produces music with heartfelt lyrics and melodies that stick. The American singer and guitarist, RED LEATHER, who with his slightly worn voice sings about his own struggles with drug addiction and the pursuit of the American dream. CARL KNAST, who with his raw and deep voice delivers confident hip-hop that is both fresh, innovative and original.
