Country Thunder Alberta is turning up the volume for its 10th anniversary celebration, returning to The Confluence Historic Site & Parkland from June 26th – 28th, with a powerful main stage lineup. Previously held in August, this year’s milestone event is shifting to June, creating an early summer kick off that will showcase some of country music’s biggest and brightest names, promising fans three days of high-energy performances.
Leading the 2026 lineup are three powerhouse acts. Set to headline Calgary’s main stage are THE RED CLAY STRAYS, whose soulful Southern rock revival has taken country by storm, KANE BROWN, one of the genre’s most electrifying hitmakers and a fan favourite across the Country Thunder family and LAINEY WILSON, the unstoppable force whose signature blend of grit, grace and undeniable star power continues to captivate audiences worldwide.
We couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate ten years in Calgary than kicking the party off earlier in the year. Kane, Lainey and The Red Clay Strays represent everything that makes country music so exciting right now; fresh energy, incredible talent and true connection with their fans. This anniversary year is all about celebrating where we’ve been and where we’re going, and we can’t wait to spend an unforgettable weekend in Calgary this June – Troy Vollhoffer, CEO, Country Thunder
Leading this year’s lineup of breakout talent are CMA’s reigning Vocal Group of the Year, THE RED CLAY STRAYS, a soulful Southern rock band whose genre-bending sound has captured the attention of country fans everywhere. Blending the raw energy of rock ‘n’ roll with soul and country grit, the Alabama-born band has become one of the most talked-about new acts in music today. With the success of their breakthrough GOLD-certified album Moment of Truth, the PLATINUM-certified hit “Wondering Why” and now the release of their powerful sophomore album, Made by These Moments, the band has cemented their place as festival must-sees, bringing their soulful hits to the Country Thunder Alberta stage for the first time. Festival goers are in for an electrifying performance from one of country music’s brightest stars.
KANE BROWN stands as one of country music’s most electrifying performers and genre-defying hitmakers. Known for his boundary-pushing sound and renowned vocals, the multi-PLATINUM entertainer has amassed billions of global streams, multiple ACM awards and Diamond Certifications for his songs “Heaven” and “What Ifs.” With 13 chart-topping No. 1 singles at Country radio, internationally sold out tours and stadium dates, Brown continues to garner a series of milestones that continue to expand the perception of country music and break musical boundaries. Attendees can look forward to a standout performance that will leave a lasting impression well beyond the festival weekend.
Rounding out this year’s headliners is reigning ACM and CMA Entertainer of the Year, LAINEY WILSON who continues her unstoppable rise as one of the most influential voices in country music. Wilson has earned 16 ACM Awards, 12 CMA Awards, a GRAMMY and countless accolades for her country storytelling and powerful vocals. Known for her award-winning hits “Watermelon Moonshine,” “Wildflowers and Wild Horses,” and “Heart Like A Truck,” Wilson’s magnetic stage presence has captivated fans across the globe, and fans will be treated to a one-of-a-kind show as Wilson makes her Country Thunder Alberta debut this summer.

In addition to the star-studded headliners, Country Thunder Alberta’s 10th anniversary will feature a dynamic lineup of country favourites and emerging talent, including multi-PLATINUM hitmaker TYLER HUBBARD and Western country standout IAN MUNSICK. Also joining them are MARK CHESTNUTT, NOELINE HOFMANN, ELIZABETH NICOLS, LOGAN LAYMAN, TONY STEVENS, ADRIEN NUNEZ, CHEVY BEAULIEU, ALEE, the winner of this year’s Ranchman’s Rising Star competition JAIDEN RILEY and many more, with homegrown Alberta talent soon to be announced through the support of Craig Senyk Initiatives.
