Superheaven, Joyce Manor, Forever The Sickest Kids and Novelists are among the latest additions to the UK festival, which has also announced its first-ever camping options for 2027.
Slam Dunk Festival has wasted little time building its 2027 line-up, announcing 18 new acts just two weeks after its initial reveal. Leading the second wave are Canadian punk-rock favourites BILLY TALENT and pop-rock outfit COBRA STARSHIP, who will return to the UK for an exclusive appearance, alongside a mix of emo, pop-punk, alternative rock and metalcore names.
The latest announcement adds further depth to a bill already featuring BOWLING FOR SOUP, SIMPLE PLAN, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, BEARTOOTH, SLEEPING WITH SIRENS, THE USED and THE FRONT BOTTOMS. With BILLY TALENT making a much-anticipated return to Slam Dunk, fans can look forward to a set packed with high-energy favourites such as “Red Flag”, “Fallen Leaves” and “Try Honesty”. The band’s combination of sharp riffs and huge choruses has made them one of the most enduring names in modern punk rock.
For fans of early-2000s alternative culture, COBRA STARSHIP could be one of the weekend’s biggest talking points. Returning to the UK for the first time in 17 years, the band will make an exclusive UK appearance at Slam Dunk, bringing back the dancefloor-ready sound behind “Good Girls Go Bad” and “Snakes on a Plane”. They are joined by fellow pop-punk favourites
FOREVER THE SICKEST KIDS, adding another dose of late-2000s nostalgia to the bill.
The announcement also brings plenty for fans looking beyond the familiar names. SUPERHEAVEN make their Slam Dunk debut with their grunge-influenced alternative rock, while JOYCE MANOR add their distinctive mix of emotionally charged songwriting and chaotic punk energy. Rising act THE PARADOX, formed in 2024, have quickly attracted attention, moving from viral success to the Warped Tour circuit in less than a year. AMIRA ELFEKY brings a darker, gothic edge to the heavier end of the programme with her nu-metal sound.

Elsewhere, ska collective THE FAMILY BUSINESS LTD arrive following the release of their self-titled debut album on Hellcat Records. The newer generation of emo and pop-punk is represented by BEN QUAD, who recently released their second album Wisher, and GAMES WE PLAY, known for the viral track “I Hope You’re Happy”. SUPER SOMETIMES also join the bill following the release of their debut album Show the World What’s Underneath.
European alternative music gets a look-in through German emo-punk band SHORELINE, while CAR UNDERWATER make their Slam Dunk debut after releasing the EP Dagger Breaks Window. The heavier side of the announcement includes THE PRETTY WILD, the Las Vegas sister duo bringing a modern nu-metal sound, French metalcore outfit NOVELISTS, masked nu-metal act BLACKGOLD, Berlin post-hardcore band FUTURE PALACE and Florida rock duo THE HAUNT.
Beyond the music, Slam Dunk is introducing a major change for 2027: camping will be available for the first time in the festival’s history. Limited pitches will be offered at both sites, including campervan spaces and pre-pitched tents, with the campsites within walking distance of the festival grounds. They are scheduled to open at 4pm on the day before each festival and close at midday the following day, giving fans the option to turn the event into a full weekend away.
The news comes as demand continues to build. VIP tickets have already sold out, with remaining tickets reported to be selling quickly. Camping tickets are scheduled to go on sale on Friday at 10am, with further details available through the festival’s official website.
Slam Dunk Festival returns to LEEDS TEMPLE NEWSAM on Saturday 29th May 2027 and HATFIELD PARK on Sunday 30th May 2027. With more artists still to be announced, the second wave strengthens the festival’s reputation as a key date for fans of punk, emo, pop-punk and alternative music.
