PLACEBO join the line-up for this year’s Margate Summer Series, heading to Dreamland Margate for a huge outdoor summer show. Taking place on Friday 9th June 2023!
PLACEBO is the inimitable rock duo, comprising Brian Molko and Stefan Olsdal. Unapologetically storming the UK music scene three decades ago with their dark and androgynous look and a raw, exploratory sound which straddled rock, electro and way beyond, engineering a sound which rose above the rife brit-pop movement of the 90s. With a string of critically acclaimed albums and single releases racking up millions of sales the world over, Placebo released their eight studio album ‘Never Let Me Go’ in 2022. With a firm cult following and a long-awaited return to the stage, PLACEBO are not to be missed in Margate this summer.
Margate Summer Series will also host the FUNK & SOUL WEEKENDER next summer, along with even more huge headline gigs from BASTILLE, MCFLY, TOM JONES, PRIMAL SCREAM and HAPPY MONDAYS, OLLY MURS, HACIENDA CLASSICAL and UB40 FEAT. ALI CAMPBELL.
