Roundhay Festival is the newest highlight of Leeds’s 2026 summer cultural calendar. The first headliner to be announced was Scottish superstar LEWIS CAPALDI. Known for his intimate songs and powerful vocals, Capaldi will continue the legacy of Roundhay Park, performing at the iconic location on Saturday 4th July next year.
Organisers have revealed the first special guests to join Lewis on the day. He will showcase two of the most talked about rising stars in music right now, as part of this huge show. US Gen-Z pop icon CONAN GRAY joins the line up riding the wave of his fourth studio album, ‘Wishbone’ released in August last year, a record about falling in love for the first time. Unapologetically authentic and known for his striking fashion, the former YouTuber achieved his highest chart debut yet with ‘Wishbone’, hitting the Top 3 on the Billboard 200. Following his completely sold-out Wishbone Pajama Show Tour, he embarks on a 2026 Wishbone World Tour of arenas. Conan will bring his intimate yet festival-ready anthems to the Roundhay Festival stage for a spectacular set with new hits like “Vodka Cranberry” and “This Song” plus multi-platinum classics like “Heather” and “Maniac”.
One of Britain’s brightest new talents, prepare to be mesmerised by JACOB ALON, the Scottish singer-songwriter whose angelic falsetto and devastatingly introspective storytelling have captivated the UK indie-folk scene. Following the viral success of their 2024 debut single “Fairy in a Bottle”, Alon released critically acclaimed debut album ‘In Limerence’ in 2025, landing a Mercury Prize shortlisting and a prestigious Critics’ Choice win at the 2026 Brit Awards, while drawing comparisons to legends like Jeff Buckley. Their live performances are emotional, haunting and unforgettable.
Roundhay Park is steeped in music history, having hosted legendary performances from the likes of Madonna, The Rolling Stones and, more recently, Ed Sheeran. This year it will host live music from some of the world’s biggest stars. In addition to Lewis Capaldi’s show, “Mr. Worldwide” himself, Pitbull brings his incredible show to Roundhay Festival on Friday 3rd July, with special guest and fellow pop icon Kesha.

LEWIS CAPALDI’S huge show in Leeds is a fitting centrepiece for one of Britain’s most popular artists. A joyous appearance at Noah Kahan’s BST Hyde Park set last year sparked a rapturous welcome from fans. In November, Capaldi released his new EP, ‘Survive’ and the title track became the fastest-selling UK single of 2025, marking his sixth UK Number 1. Capaldi joined Beyoncé, Britney Spears, Drake, Lady Gaga & Queen in achieving six UK number 1 singles. The beloved Scottish singer played a sold-out 17-date UK arena tour recently too. The response was electric, with critics unanimous in their praise, delivering four and five-star reviews across the board.
Now, Capaldi is making his ultimate comeback performing at Roundhay Festival on Saturday 4th July and at BST Hyde Park on Saturday 11th July and Sunday 12th July!
