Dublin’s post-punk powerhouse, FONTAINES D.C., return to the stages of INmusic festival next summer! Known for their electrifying energy and thought-provoking lyrics, they promise an unforgettable performance!
Formed in 2014, FONTAINES D.C. features Grian Chatten (vocals), Conor Curley (guitar), Conor Deegan III (bass), Tom Coll (drums), and Carlos O’Connell (guitar). Their journey began at a music college in Dublin, where a shared passion for poetry forged their artistic bond. After self-releasing several singles, they signed with Partisan Records, debuting with the acclaimed album ‘Dogrel’ in 2019. This debut not only garnered widespread praise but also earned a nomination for the Mercury Prize, solidifying their place in the music scene.
Since then, FONTAINES D.C has captivated audiences around the globe with their dynamic live performances. Following ’Dogrel’, in 2020 they released the critically lauded album ‘A Hero’s Death’ and in 2022 ‘Skinty Fia’, each contributing to their rapid rise in prominence. With their latest album ‘ROMANCE’, released in 2024, the band embarks on an exciting new chapter, seamlessly blending grunge, hip-hop, and shoegaze into a captivating soundscape. The album has further established Fontaines D.C. as one of the most exciting bands of this generation.
