Fort Lauderdale is getting ready for another huge weekend of country music, rock, sunshine and ocean views as Tortuga Music Festival returns to Florida’s Atlantic coast in April 2027. The festival has revealed its first major line-up announcement, bringing together country superstars, rock favourites, pop icons and rising artists for three days on the sand.
Taking place from 2nd to 4th April 2027 at Fort Lauderdale Beach, Tortuga will be headlined by FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE on Friday, ERIC CHURCH on Saturday and MEGAN MORONEY on Sunday. With the GOO GOO DOLLS, TRAIN and NE-YO also among the biggest names announced, this year’s programme promises a lively mix of sounds that reaches well beyond country music.
FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE RETURN TO THE FESTIVAL SPOTLIGHT
Friday belongs to FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE, with the duo of Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley set to headline as they return to the festival circuit in 2027. Their blend of country, pop and party-ready hooks helped define a generation of crossover country hits, making their Tortuga appearance one of the announcement’s biggest talking points.
They will be joined by NE-YO, bringing a dose of R&B and dance-pop to the beachfront, alongside STELLA LEFTY, VINCENT MASON and MICHAEL FRANTI & SPEARHEAD. The result is a Friday programme that moves from contemporary country into soul, pop and feel-good live music, setting the tone for a weekend designed to keep the beach crowd moving.
ERIC CHURCH AND TRAIN TAKE OVER SATURDAY
Saturday’s headliner is ERIC CHURCH, one of country music’s most distinctive modern performers. Known for his rock-influenced sound, uncompromising attitude and catalogue of crowd favourites, Church has built a reputation for powerful live shows that balance arena-sized energy with the storytelling at the heart of country music.
TRAIN will also bring their collection of enduring pop-rock hits to the festival, giving Saturday a different flavour. STEPHEN WILSON JR., whose music draws on country, Americana and alternative rock, adds further depth to the day’s bill, alongside CHASE MATTHEW, GRACE POTTER and TYLER NANCE.
MEGAN MORONEY LEADS A BIG SUNDAY FINISH
Sunday closes with MEGAN MORONEY, whose sharp songwriting, modern country sound and distinctive personality have helped make her one of the genre’s most talked-about contemporary artists. Her headline appearance gives the festival a strong finish, with plenty of room for singalongs and a final afternoon of country music by the sea.
THE GOO GOO DOLLS will also perform on Sunday, bringing a catalogue of familiar alternative-rock and pop hits to the shoreline. TUCKER WETMORE joins them, while the wider day’s line-up includes DYLAN SCOTT, TYLER BRADEN, CARTER FAITH, WILLOW AVALON, THE DROPTINES, ALGORHYTHM, SONS OF HABIT and KYLE SCHUESLER.
Across the three days, the announcement features a broad selection of established acts and emerging names, including DYLAN MARLOWE, DRAKE MILLIGAN, REDFERRIN, BADFISH, THE WHEELAND BROTHERS, KEVIN POWERS, GRACE POTTER, ASHLEY ANNE, FRANKLIN JONAS and many more. DEE JAY SILVER and DJ ROCK are also set to bring their DJ sets to the festival.

MUSIC WITH A MISSION
Tortuga is more than a beachfront music festival. Organised by Rock The Ocean in partnership with Live Nation, the event has made marine conservation a central part of its identity. Its Conservation Village gives festival-goers opportunities to learn about ocean protection, marine research and the environmental challenges facing coastal ecosystems.
That combination of live music and conservation awareness gives Tortuga a distinct place in the American festival calendar. With the Atlantic Ocean as its backdrop, the event brings together fans for a weekend of performances while highlighting the importance of protecting the waters and wildlife that make its setting so special.
The beach location also gives Tortuga a different atmosphere from a conventional field-based festival. Expect warm-weather crowds, ocean views and a mix of country fans, rock audiences and pop lovers sharing the same stretch of sand.
