Ocean Colour Scene, Matt Goss and Marc Almond Lead The Brit Fest 2027!

The Brit Fest 2027

The Brit Fest is returning to Ashley Hall in Cheshire next summer with its biggest line-up yet, and the 2027 edition is shaping up to be a celebration of some of the most recognisable names in British music.

Running from Thursday 15th to Sunday 18th July 2027, the festival will once again take over the Cheshire showground for four days, with a line-up that moves from Ibiza anthems and indie favourites to pop, soul and plenty of nostalgia.

At the top of the bill are OCEAN COLOUR SCENE, MATT GOSS and MARC ALMOND, with each taking headline duties on a different night.

And there is plenty more to get excited about.

THURSDAY STARTS WITH IBIZA CLASSICS
The Brit Fest gets underway on Thursday evening with SYMPHONIC IBIZA, bringing a live orchestra, DJs and vocalists together for a set built around some of the biggest anthems from the Ibiza era. Adding to the party will be three special guests: KELLY LLORENNA, LIVIN’ JOY and ROZALLA.

It is a slightly different way to open a festival that has built its reputation around British music, but it should provide an energetic start to the four-day event.

OCEAN COLOUR SCENE HEADLINE FRIDAY
Friday night belongs to OCEAN COLOUR SCENE, one of the defining British bands of the 1990s and early 2000s. The Birmingham band became a major part of the Britpop and indie scene with songs including The Day We Caught the Train, The Riverboat Song, You’ve Got It Bad and Better Day.

They will be joined on Friday by another hugely familiar name, THE LIGHTNING SEEDS, while HUEY MORGAN OF FUN LOVIN’ CRIMINALS will also appear.

There is a nod towards the next generation too, with rising artist LAURIE WRIGHT joining the bill. MATTHEW PATEMAN, known from The Fizz and Let Loose, will also perform on the main stage before taking over hosting duties on the VIP stage later in the day.

Two further Friday artists are still to be announced, giving the opening full day of The Brit Fest another couple of pieces still to fall into place.

MATT GOSS LEADS A HUGE SATURDAY
Saturday’s line-up takes a trip through several decades of British pop, soul and new wave, with MATT GOSS taking the headline slot.

The former Bros frontman will be joined by HAIRCUT 100, HEAVEN 17, THE REAL THING, DOCTOR & THE MEDICS, NATHAN MOORE and TOYAH.

It is a particularly strong collection of artists for anyone who grew up with British pop and new wave, but there is also enough variety to make Saturday feel like more than a straightforward nostalgia bill. From Tempted and Life in a Northern Town to You to Me Are Everything and Spirit in the Sky, there will be plenty of familiar songs throughout the day.

MARC ALMOND CLOSES THE FESTIVAL
Sunday brings the final headline act, with MARC ALMOND closing The Brit Fest 2027.

Best known as the frontman of Soft Cell and for the enduring classic Tainted Love, Almond has enjoyed a career spanning more than four decades and remains one of the most distinctive voices in British pop.

He will be joined by THE BRAND NEW HEAVIES, THE AMY WINEHOUSE BAND, BACCARA, THE MAGIC NUMBERS, MUSICAL YOUTH and COLE PAGE.

The inclusion of The Amy Winehouse Band is particularly interesting, offering festivalgoers the opportunity to hear the music associated with one of Britain’s most influential modern artists performed by musicians who were part of her live world.

MORE THAN JUST THE MAIN STAGE
The Brit Fest has grown considerably since its first edition in 2024, with the 2027 festival set to increase capacity and introduce further developments across the site.

Away from the main stage, the Busk Stop and Little Big Top will return, giving emerging performers a platform alongside the established names.

There will also be independent food and drink traders, family entertainment, camping and live-in vehicle options, meaning the festival is increasingly designed as a full weekend experience rather than simply a series of headline performances.

That fits with the character The Brit Fest has developed since its launch. It is a festival built around familiar songs and artists, but with enough variety to make each day feel different.

With OCEAN COLOUR SCENE, MATT GOSS and MARC ALMOND heading three very different days, The Brit Fest has put together a 2027 line-up that leans heavily into the songs that have become part of the British musical landscape.
