The 2026 iteration of Great Southern Nights is set to take over venues across the state in less than a month. Starting on 1 May, the program is shaping up to be the most expansive yet, with artists playing shows as south as Merimbula, as north as Kingscliff, as inland as Wagga Wagga and as remote as Boggabilla.
With the new event initiatives of Live Fest Dubbo and Tamworth, River Sounds, the return of Groovin the Moo and recently announced Gig Trail offerings, Great Southern Nights is today announcing even more artists to the already huge program.
Please welcome 13 more incredible artists to the 2026 line up, covering all genres with breaking to established home grown heroes including;
AYESHA MADON | C.O.F.F.I.N | DEAN TURNLEY | DRAPHT | L.A.B | OLD MERVS | PACIFIC AVENUE | RHYTHM SECTION | SHADY NASTY | SOUL WUN | THE RUBENS | TIGERLILY | WADE FORSTER
These additional artists take the Great Southern Nights statistics to a whopping 320 artists playing at 215 venues, over 17 nights across New South Wales. That’s not including supporting artists, which if we do some quick calculations brings it to over 700 artists taking to stages across the state!
With the countdown well and truly on, tickets are moving with some shows already sold out including Gordi and Hatchie. With Paul Kelly, Missy Higgins and more forming the bill, Live Fest Dubbo tickets are selling fast, along with Jess Mauboy, Sons of the East, Augie March, MAY-A, Hannah Joy and more.
