The program for NorthSide 2026 is now complete – including two of the world’s best female DJs in the form of PEGGY GOU and CHARLOTTE DE WITTE. The release, which also features Norwegian indie legends KINGS OF CONVENIENCE, ranges from a global, electronic superstar to Scandinavian indie sensibilities, uncompromising Danish pop, dark post-punk and a new wave in Danish hip-hop.
She conquers charts, clubs and festival scenes around the world, and now PEGGY GOU lands at NorthSide. In just a few years, the Korean has made her mark as one of the absolute biggest and most significant figures on the international electronic scene. With roots in the underground and an eye for the immediacy of pop, she moves effortlessly between dark club rooms and the world’s biggest festival stages.
From Bergen comes KINGS OF CONVENIENCE, who since 1999 have refined their underplayed and melancholic indie folk with acoustic guitars and polyphonic vocals. With album classics such as Quiet Is the New Loud and Riot on an Empty Street as well as songs such as ‘Misread’ and ‘I’d Rather Dance with You’, the duo have left their mark on the modern folk-pop scene.
SVANEBORG KARDYB brings calm, presence and Nordic, melodic jazz to Eskelunden. Since their debut in 2019, the duo has distinguished themselves as one of Denmark’s most recognised instrumental names and, with the album Haven and a performance at NPR’s Tiny Desk, has reached far beyond the country’s borders. SØN continues their uncompromising journey on the Danish alternative pop scene. With Solstorm, the EP Solpletter and the self-titled album from 2025, the band has pushed the boundaries of how Danish pop can sound.
Scottish band THE TWILIGHT SAD moves in the dark intersection between indie and post-punk. The band, which has opened for THE CURE on several European tours since 2016, is known for the massive sound universe, which is built on tight guitar layers, heavy drums and James Graham’s characteristic vocals. WICKY represents a new wave in Danish hip-hop. With the debut album Jeez from 2025 and a sound that balances emo-rap, dark energy and understated humour, he has marked himself as one of the most interesting new voices on the hip-hop scene.
With today’s six additions, the NorthSide 2026 poster is complete. The festival ranges from electronic world elite and international indie icons to strong Danish names across jazz, pop, rock and hip-hop.
NorthSide 2026 takes place in Eskelunden in Aarhus, and with a complete program the stage is set for three days of musical highlights.
