2026 – Let’s go! Joining this year’s edition of Open’er are MARTIN GARRIX – a global icon of electronic and dance music, MATT BERNINGER – the vocalist and lyricist for The National, following his second, excellent solo album “Get Sunk”; KNEECAP – the Irish punk-rap cultural phenomenon; LP – an exceptional musical personality with her powerful voice; ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U – a Japanese DJ with an almost shamanic energy.
From an early age, he dreamed of becoming a DJ and fulfilled that dream beyond expectations, becoming a 5-time winner of DJ Mag’s “Top 100 DJs” list. Already in 2013, while only 17, MARTIN GARRIX achieved his first spectacular success with “Animals”, being hailed as an international EDM icon. The following years only sealed his status, spreading his fame across the globe, by headlining festivals and collaborating with major stars including Dua Lipa, Bono and The Edge (U2), Khalid and Macklemore. There’s no doubt that Garrix’s ability to reinvent his brand and fearlessly experiment with his sound, by filtering its many streams of creativity to the masses with such ease, is an undeniable testament to his talent and longevity, ultimately driving his legendary narrative even further. Get ready for a massive set, a huge party, and an inimitable visual show. MARTIN GARRIX plays Orange Main Stage on July 3!
Condemned by politicians, beloved by fans, kicked out of their own gigs, and packing festival tents to overflow, KNEECAP are a cultural phenomenon. Since they emerged from a squat in West Belfast, Kneecap have created their own genre of Irish punk rap, melding the Irish and English language with electrifying energy, and spearheading a cultural revival. With shows and tracks flip between satirical performance art and rampageous raves, meet Móglaí Bap, Mo Chara, and DJ Provaí. Heralded by the New York Times, the LA Times, Dazed, Vice, i-D, the Guardian, and others, Kneecap’s irreverent, complex, and potent lyrics speak to a time of political upheaval, youthful rebellion and discontent, and a renewed urge to party. KNEECAP is a movement, one about upending preconceptions about language and place, and reimagining what rap can be as a creative and cultural force, rooted in community, craic, and defiance. Catch them July 1, Tent Stage.
A phenomenal voice, openness to genres, and emotional lyrics are the hallmarks that have made LP one of the most distinctive musical personalities of recent years. The American artist and songwriter behind hits such as “Lost On You”and “Girls Go Wild” has released seven studio albums to date, the latest of which, “Love Lines,” came out in 2023. LP’s music has amassed over 3 billion streams worldwide, and on July 4 you’ll be able to hear her live on the Tent Stage.
MATT BERNINGER is the vocalist and lyricist for Grammy Award-winning band The National. His songwriting has long garnered praise for its poignant clarity, jagged-edged wit and intimately emotive melodies. Outside of his long career with The National, Berninger formed EL VY with Brent Knopf, and released two solo albums – „Serpentine Prison” (2020), and „Get Sunk”, which came out in May 2025. Berninger is also a visual artist, painting on white boards of song titles and lyrics while working in the studio. Matt’s latest medium is baseballs, on which he pens lyrics and poems across their white leather and red stitching. His songwriting is deeply rooted in his artmaking, as both lean toward fragmentary, collage-like curiosity. There is a porous boundary between artist, poet, lyricist and singer, and all contribute to Berninger’s creative wanderings. See him live at Open’er – July 1, Tent Stage!
¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U embodies the role of storyteller, guardian of dance tradition, and performer with an almost shamanic energy. The Japanese DJ began his artistic journey in Osaka, combining his passion for music with construction work. A breakthrough came with his set at DJ Nobu’s “Future Terror” party in 2014, and just two years later he devoted himself entirely to music, gaining recognition with his 2022 album „Midnight Is Comin’”. Since 2020, he has lived in Tokyo, and his masterful sets—seamlessly blending multiple genres into fluid, hypnotic journeys—have conquered festivals and clubs worldwide, including Berghain. Recordings from Hör Berlin and Boiler Room have drawn millions of viewers, cementing his status as one of the most unique DJs in the world. Get ready for his set on Alter Stage. See you July 3!
