Here Comes The Sun returns in 2026 partnering with World Surf League

Australia Here Comes The Sun 2026

Returning in 2026 bigger and better than ever, Here Comes The Sun defends its title as the most progressive music festival in Australia with the announcement that it has partnered with World Surf League, and will be presenting three incredible events in tandem with the World Surf League’s (WSL) Australian Championship Tour events in 2026.
Kicking off at Torquay Common on Saturday 4th April (Rip Curl Pro presented by Bonsoy weekend), Here Comes The Sun will then return to its home of 3 Oceans in WA’s surfing mecca of Margaret River on Saturday 25th April (Western Australia Margaret River Pro weekend), before heading to Queen Elizabeth Park on the Gold Coast for a wind-up on Saturday 2nd May (Bonsoy Gold Coast Pro weekend).

Featuring an incredible line up of some of Australia’s most established and most exciting emerging artists, your Here Comes The Sun 2026 line up features:

Synonymous with surfing, the festival has gone hand-in-hand with the Western Australia Margaret River Pro for years, then broadened its horizons in 2024 to venture eastward and join the Bells Beach event in Torquay. Evidently, this caught the attention of surfing’s most prominent global body, who saw how perfectly Here Comes The Sun fits with Australia’s favourite oceanic pastime.

WSL are stoked to partner with the Here Comes the Sun Festival to combine our iconic WSL Championship Tour events in Australia with an exciting music festival experience. Music and surfing have always shared an authentic fit and this partnership will continue to bring this to life at our icon events – Andrew Stark, WSL APAC President

While there will be more of Here Comes The Sun for music lovers to enjoy in 2026, the festival will not compromise its commitment to comfort and safety, maintaining ample space and facilities for everyone, in addition to a thoughtful selection of food, drink and artisan vendors.

And, being a music festival, there’s also the top-shelf line-up to brag about – an all-Australian ensemble that presents an impeccable mix of legends and legends-in-the making:

Befitting the grandeur of Here Comes The Sun’s expansion is Sydney’s sibling-duo-turned-pop-powerhouse, LIME CORDIALE. Since the release of their 2017 debut album Permanent Vacation, they have become one of the most loved and critically-acclaimed acts in Australia – bringing the fire to every festival lineup worth its salt, hitting multiple spots on the Hottest 100, and racking up a handful of ARIA nominations.

Their second album 14 Steps To A Better You secured their first ARIA win, and from there it has been a rapid rise to legendary status for the Leimbach brothers and co. It’s not surprising that Lime Cordiale have been invited to headline Here Comes The Sun… their sound is as fresh as an afternoon onshore breeze, with classic tunes like “Money”, “Pedestal”, “Not That Easy” and “Robbery” capturing the same feelgood vibe that makes Here Comes The Sun emblematic of the coastal lifestyle.

THE JUNGLE GIANTS also bring world-class vibes to the stage, hitting all the sweet spots with their effortlessly cool brand of indie rock. No strangers to the festival circuit, The Jungle Giants have built a deserved reputation for their electrifying live shows, which provide the perfect sonic backdrop for a day in the Aussie sunshine. Now four albums deep into an illustrious career, The Jungle Giants have produced some of the best songs of the past 10 years, with bangers like “Used To Be In Love”, “Heavy Hearted” and “She’s A Riot” under their belts.

Another festival veteran lending their talent to Here Comes The Sun’s massive 2026 run is gold-selling DJ/Producer extraordinaire YOUNG FRANCO. Hot on the heels of a scorching year that saw the release of his debut studio album It’s Franky Baby, Young Franco will be dishing out beats, basslines and melodies like it’s Christmas. Sandwiched in between a sellout UK tour and an impending tour of North America, Young Franco’s appearance at Here Comes The Sun will be unstoppable.

By the time SYCCO’S debut album Zorb dropped in 2025 she was already a grandmaster – with a discography of three EPs and over 20 singles spanning back to her childhood. An absolute musical tour de force, Sycco has a slew of AIR, APRA, ARIA, and National Indigenous Music Award noms to her name, with a trophy cabinet filled with Q Song Awards and a 2025 J Award for Australian Album Of The Year. Pulling out banger after banger, Sycco’s set at Here Comes The Sun is going to be an absolute barn-burner.

ELIZA & THE DELUSIONALS are hands-down one of the most vital indie rock bands in Australia right now. Built around Eliza Klatt’s beautiful voice, The Delusionals create a breathtaking journey that twists and turns from the whisper-quiet to the bombastic in the blink of an eye. Now in their tenth year, Eliza & The Delusionals have amassed a huge worldwide fanbase (not to mention prestigious award noms) for their songwriting prowess, emphasised on their stunning 2024 sophomore album Make It Feel Like The Garden.

While still a teenager, singer-songwriter MARIAE CASSANDRA has forged a career that rivals many veterans, accumulating literally millions of plays already. Her late-2025 single “Maybe It All Works Out In The End” is a perfect introduction for the uninitiated – a joyous, catchy slice of pop perfection that showcases not only one of the best emerging voices in Australia but an ageless lyrical wisdom. One of the most promising up-and-coming talents in Australia, Mariae Cassandra feels destined to be the breakthrough artist of 2026.
