Forget the Christmas countdown, the Electric Picnic countdown has officially started as the first nine acts for 2026 are announced today. On Saturday organisrs are delighted to announce GORILLAZ for the top slot. And Ireland’s very own FONTAINES D.C. will take the Sunday night headline slot.
But that’s not all….
Joining GORILLAZ and FONTAINES D.C. are CMAT, SOMBR, ZARA LARSSON, SKEPTA, WUNDERHORSE, ROLE MODEL and the very wonderful GEESE.
It’s a first for Electric Picnic to welcome GORILLAZ to Stradbally and a particular moment of pride to watch FONTAINES D.C. move on up to the prestigious closing spot on Sunday night.
And what a year it’s been for CMAT!
