As usual, FEZEN starts its announcements with rock-metal names. The 2025 festival will feature Slayer founder KERRY KING with his new solo project, the Grammy-winning cult band MASTODON, and two of the essential symphonic metal bands, APOCALYPTICA and EPICA. There are more names coming, both harder and softer, so it’s worth marking down the four dates of 2025: July 30th – 2nd August 2025!
One of the most anticipated metal events of the year was the solo album of Slayer co-founder and guitarist KERRY KING. The album From Hell I Rise, released in May, is a direct continuation of Salyer’s cult work, which the Hungarian audience can also hear live at the FEZEN Festival in Székesfehérvár. King worked with fellow musicians such as Death Angel singer Mark Osegueda, former Vio-lance and Machine Head guitarist Phil Demmel, Hellyeah bassist Kyle Sanders, and Slayer and Testament drummer Paul Bostaph. The metal supergroup will be seen at FEZEN on 31st July!
MASTODON will also be coming to FEZEN on July 31. With eight studio albums, more than twenty years, a Grammy Award and other accolades behind them, the American progressive, stoner metal band needs no introduction. After eight years, the Hungarian audience will be able to meet them again in Székesfehérvár in the summer of 2025.
We heard the news that APOCALYPTICA is playing Metallica again and now, almost two decades after their first album, the legendary metal cellists have released their new Metallica cover album, Apocalyptica Plays Metallica vol. 2. The Finnish metal band, which comes from classical music, will not miss the Hungarian festival season either, and you can see them at FEZEN on 1st August. And to make the symphonic metal experience even more complete, the Dutch band EPICA will also join the performers of FEZEN on August 1st.
After the first four, the rest of the performers of FEZEN 2025 will soon arrive, both in the metal and pop line-up!
