He was the first DJ to sell out all tickets for an event held in a stadium where he performed solo in front of 25,000 people for two consecutive nights. His remix of “Silence” (Delirium feat. Sarah McLachlan) was the first house track played during daytime programming on North American radio stations. It became an international dancefloor anthem and a top 10 hit on the UK charts. TIËSTO seems more creative than ever; in recent years, he has released successful collaborations with mainstream artists and an album titled “Drive,” where he blends elements from house, tech, and deep house.
