The Prodigy And Lil Silva Join The Meo Kalorama Line Up

Incredible new confirmations THE PRODIGY and LIL SILVA complete the line-up of MEO KALORAMA 2023 that will see ARCADE FIRE, FLORENCE + THE MACHINE, YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAHS, APHEX TWIN and FOALS, among many others performing at Parque da Bela Vista, Lisbon, between August 31st and September 2nd. The full line-up consists of 40% female artists, solo or in bands that are part of or led by women. The LGBTQI community will be represented as well as 16 national artists, including 4 local artists, from the Chelas é o Sítio collective.

The line-up for MEO Kalorama 2023 was closed today with the confirmation of the iconic Essex group, THE PRODIGY, who will join the programme on the first day of the festival on the 31st of August. The prolific British producer, singer and songwriter LIL SILVA will be on the 2nd of September.

THE PRODIGY a band that created a unique sound exploring electronic, punk and hardcore, thus deserving the status of one of the most important in the history of late 20th / early 21st-century music, returns to Lisbon in the context of the current European tour is an opportunity not to be missed. After celebrating the 25th anniversary of the band’s iconic album “Fat Of The Land” in 2022, this year Liam Howlett and Maxim are back on a highly awaited tour with an unmissable date at Meo Kalorama.

The popstar’s songwriter LIL SILVA, who has worked with Adele, Mark Ronson or BANKS to name a few, while maintaining his status in the UK funk scene with a characteristic sound featuring synthesizers and beats alike. After releasing his first full-length album last year “Yesterday is Heavy”, Lil Silva will make the crowd move with his dreamy and deeply immersive sound landscape.


After a series of announcements in recent months, today the line-up is closed presenting a bold proposal that goes far beyond first-world-class names such as Arcade Fire, Florence + The Machine or The Prodigy. MEO Kalorama’s Communication Director, Andreia Criner, said: “Between the lines you can read the boldness of MEO Kalorama’s proposals“.

Names to highlight include APHEX TWIN, ARCA, SHYGIRL, BELLE AND SEBASTIAN, AND THE PHENOMENAL FKJ, ETHEL CAIN AND TAMINO, YEAH YEAH YEAHS, THE BLAZE and M83 will present new records and shows, while José González will celebrate the 20th anniversary of his classic debut album by playing it in its entirety. The decades-awaited return of Siouxie and THE HIVES and the much-anticipated PABLLO VITTAR’S show. For the locals and curious international crowds, the Portuguese music contingent will feature DINO D’SANTIAGO, PONGO, SELMA UAMUSSE and SCÚRU FITCHÁDU, among many others. 2023 will see the opening of a new onsite space celebrating electronic music, Panorama, which will be the first stage to open and the last to close every day.
