SUNBURN EUROPE REVEALS FIRST DETAILS AT ITS 400-PERSON FLOATING FESTIVAL EXPERIENCE WITH THE YACHT WEEK ACROSS CROATIA!
“7 Days. 5 Islands. 400 People.” – A new kind of festival journey takes shape on the Adriatic this summer
Sunburn Europe has unveiled the first details of its highly anticipated Croatia debut, offering a glimpse inside what is set to become one of the summer’s most sought-after travel and music experiences, a curated, 400-person floating festival unfolding across the Adriatic from July 18th – 25th 2026
Set across seven days and five islands, the experience reimagines the traditional festival format as a moving journey, where the environment becomes part of the performance and no two days or nights are the same.
From historic fortresses to open water gatherings, Sunburn Europe is designed as an immersive progression through Croatia’s most iconic coastal locations, blending electronic music, travel and social energy into a single, continuous experience.
A FESTIVAL THAT MOVES
Beginning in Split and Trogir, the journey opens with a sunset takeover at the Kamerlengo Fortress, where centuries-old architecture meets contemporary sound. From there, the experience shifts daily from beachside sessions at Zlatni Rat in Bol to a defining open-water raft party, where yachts converge to form a floating dancefloor.
Further along the route, Hvar delivers its signature blend of high-energy nightlife and curated dining, while Vis offers a more elemental counterpoint from the stillness of the Blue Cave to a late-night transformation of Fort George into an open-air electronic venue overlooking the Adriatic.
Without a single fixed stage, the landscape itself becomes the backdrop and the story.
LIMITED BY DESIGN
With capacity intentionally capped at approximately 400 guests, Sunburn Europe is positioned as a highly curated experience rather than a mass-scale festival.
This deliberate limitation reflects a broader shift in how global audiences are engaging with music and travel moving away from large-format events towards more intimate, experience-led journeys.
WHERE MUSIC MEETS MOVEMENT
Music remains central throughout the week, with a curated mix of international artists spanning house, techno and electronic sounds, designed to evolve with the setting, from sunrise sessions on the water to late-night sets in historic venues.
Rather than anchoring the experience to a single stage, Sunburn Europe allows each location to shape the energy, creating a dynamic rhythm that builds and shifts across the journey.
THE RISE OF THE EXPERIENCE-LED FESTIVAL
Sunburn Europe’s debut arrives at a time when travel and culture are increasingly intertwined, with audiences choosing destinations based on the experiences they offer rather than geography alone.
Croatia, now firmly established as one of Europe’s leading music tourism destinations, provides a natural setting for this evolution, where beach clubs, historic landmarks and island landscapes converge into a multi-dimensional stage.
NOT A FESTIVAL YOU GO TO – A JOURNEY YOU’RE PART OF
As Sunburn continues its global expansion, its European debut signals a shift not just in geography, but in format introducing a new way to experience music, travel and community as one continuous story.
