Metronome Festival organisers have announced their first 2 acts for next summer – NICK CAVE & THE BAD SEEDS and STING!
NICK CAVE & THE BAD SEEDS are coming to celebrate 10 years of Metronome Prague, performing on Saturday 20th June!

“After Nick’s first performance at Metronome Prague a few years ago, he asked us: ‘Where did you find such an amazing audience?’ So we invited him to join us for our 10th anniversary celebrations, and we’re thrilled he accepted. Prague will be one of only a few stops in the region, so we’re looking forward to welcoming not only Czech fans but also visitors from abroad. Nick is preparing an incredible, more than two-hour-long show – David Gaydečka, co-founder of Metronome Prague.
Nick Cave – the charismatic singer, songwriter, poet, and eternal rebel – has spent four decades exploring the boundaries between rock, blues, and poetry. His live performances are considered among the most powerful in the world, each one a unique blend of raw energy, poetic beauty, and profound emotion.
Taking the stage on the next night 1st June is the one and only STING – one of the most influential artists in modern music and the iconic frontman of The Police, is bringing his electrifying STING 3.0 Tour to Prague.
With an incredible 17 GRAMMY Awards, induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and over 100 million albums sold, STING’S impact on music spans generations. Timeless hits like Every Breath You Take, Fields of Gold, and Englishman in New York remain cornerstones of modern pop history.
This year’s STING 3.0 Tour brings a fresh, high-energy format, featuring a tight three-piece lineup – Sting, guitarist Dominic Miller and drummer Chris Maas, delivering new power and intensity to both beloved classics and new songs.
