Although winter has made a comeback, festival summer is fast approaching!
On the 13th – 15th July, it’s once again time for the Gasklockorna in Gävle to open the gates to the Gefle Metal Festival and now the bands that will play on the indoor Gasklockorna Stage during the opening day of the festival are released.
Among them is the multi-instrumentalist Katherine Shepard – aka SYLVAINE – who in 2019 was nominated for a Norwegian Grammy for the album “Atoms Aligned, Coming Undone”. In addition, it is now also clear that the Danish melodic death metal band DEFACING GOD will come to Gävle this summer. Other bands in today’s release are KVAEN, OFFERBLOD, ERADIKATED and SKINFLINT.
The poster is starting to look really, really good. This will be one of the better editions of the Gefle Metal Festival. Those who are not already aware of the bands we released today should really take the chance to see them live this summer – there is a lot of good stuff to discover there
