SIMPLE MINDS are the second name revealed on the Lucca Summer Festival 2025 lineup.
This will be an absolute debut on the Lucca stage for the Scottish band who have announced a series of summer shows for 2025 following the great success of their 2024 World Tour – the biggest since the 1985 tour.

Over the last year, SIMPLE MINDS have in fact played in front of around one million people all over the world. Having sold over 60 million albums and achieved number ones all over the world, Simple Minds have not only become a must-see live act, they have also re-captured the magic that made them such an essential artistic force in their early years, with many younger artists referencing them. Their most recent and critically acclaimed album, ‘Direction of the Heart’, reached number 4 in the UK album charts and entered the top 10 in several other countries. Reviewing the album, MOJO magazine described the band’s energy as ‘undiminished’, while other critics praised their stamina and constant creativity.
