For the third consecutive year, Heavy Weekend will take place at the Nancy Open-Air on June 5th – 7th 2026, and will welcome, in order of appearance on the Zénith stage: SABATON on Friday, GOJIRA on Saturday, and ELECTRIC CALLBOY on Sunday. These are three of the most attractive acts on the current metal scene, each of these bands representing a very specific trend in this music that continues to regenerate, even reinvent, itself.
National pride dictates that GOJIRA will undoubtedly create a sensation by giving Nancy their one and only concert in France in 2026. A show that will unite all of France’s metal scene, and which will coincide with their opening performances for Metallica, scheduled for Europe next year. This is an unmissable opportunity to join these groove metal champions in their irresistible rise.
In a completely different style, the Swedes of SABATON will deliver a history lesson to the sound of their unifying power metal, paying homage to legends such as Napoleon, Joan of Arc, and Julius Caesar, in a fiery world.
Finally, the Germans of ELECTRIC CALLBOY will burst forth with their ultra-dynamic and optimistic anthems, sure to get the audience jumping in all directions.
Three days, three groups, three styles, three good reasons to meet at Heavy Weekend on June 5, 6 and 7, 2026 as part of the Nancy Open-Air.
