British pop superstar will open PHILLGOOD 2027 with a huge headline performance as the festival returns to Plovdiv for its second edition.
The first major name for PHILLGOOD 2027 has been revealed and it is a big one. ROBBIE WILLIAMS will headline the opening day of the festival on Friday, 16 July 2027, bringing one of the UK’s biggest and most charismatic performers to the Main Stage at the Rowing Canal in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
Following an ambitious debut edition in 2026, PHILLGOOD is returning from 16th – 18th July 2027, and the announcement of Robbie Williams gives the festival a spectacular start to its second chapter.
ROBBIE WILLIAMS OPENS PHILLGOOD 2027
ROBBIE WILLIAMS needs little introduction. From his years as a member of Take That to his hugely successful solo career, he has become one of the most recognisable and entertaining performers in British pop.
His PHILLGOOD appearance will mark his return to Bulgaria following his major 2025 concert at Sofia’s Vasil Levski National Stadium, where more than 40,000 fans gathered for the show. Now, on 16th July 2027, Williams will return to the country for another huge outdoor performance – this time as the first headliner of PHILLGOOD 2027.
Expect a set packed with the songs that have defined his career, from massive pop anthems and emotional ballads to the unmistakable showmanship that has made Robbie Williams one of the world’s most successful live entertainers.
A MAJOR START FOR PHILLGOOD’S SECOND EDITION
The announcement is an impressive first piece of the PHILLGOOD 2027 line-up, with the remaining artists for Saturday and Sunday still to be revealed.
The festival’s debut in 2026 brought more than 35 Bulgarian and international artists to the Rowing Canal, including The Cure, Gorillaz and Moby. PHILLGOOD also attracted visitors from across Europe, with more than a quarter of its audience travelling from outside Bulgaria.
Now the festival is looking to build on that success with three days of music in one of Plovdiv’s most distinctive outdoor locations. And with ROBBIE WILLIAMS confirmed as the first headliner, expectations for the rest of the 2027 line-up are already rising.
PHILLGOOD 2027: MORE NAMES TO COME
ROBBIE WILLIAMS is currently the only confirmed artist for PHILLGOOD 2027, with further acts set to be announced in the coming months. The festival is once again promising a broad international programme across its three-day schedule, with Williams taking centre stage on the opening Friday.
