Rolling Loud Portugal 2023 news

Rolling Loud leveled up its international experience in 2023, offering multiple festivals presenting the best in global rap music in unique settings. Happening on the beaches of Portimão in Portugal’s southern Algarve coast, the opening day of the second annual Rolling Loud Portugal brought out thousands of fans to the picturesque, sandy setting. Though the sun beamed down during the day, fans from all over Europe kept hydrated and stayed enthusiastic, offering an energetic welcome to some of the most exciting artists in music today.

The first day of Rolling Loud Portugal 2023 brought extravagant spectacle in the form of TRAVIS SCOTT’s concluding set. The artist also known as La Flame performed hits from his decade-long career with a stage design inspired by his upcoming album UTOPIA. LIL UZI VERT performed songs from his recently released Pink Tape, massive UK rapper CENTRAL CEE performed hits from his recently released Split Decision EP (a collaboration with Dave) and LATTO put it on the floor again, representing the Dirty South like only she can.

Newly-minted XXL freshman LUH TYLER played one of his first-ever international sets. Italy’s RONDODASOSA performed, displaying the talent that made him his home country’s biggest drill star, as did Portuguese rappers like WET BED GANG and T-REX. The crowd saved some of their most enthusiastic reactions for American rising stars like BKTHERULA and EEM TRIPLIN, who brought out his close friend $NOT as a special guest.

Western Europe’s hottest rap festival, Rolling Loud Portugal, continued Thursday, bringing some of the best and brightest in today’s rap game to the beaches of Portimão. Day 2 of Rolling Loud Portugal was a smashing success, offering full sets by current and soon-to-be hip-hop A-listers at a gorgeous oceanside locale.

Thursday’s headliner was PLAYBOI CARTI, who brought his singular VAMP energy to the Algarve coast, full-throatedly shouting his biggest hits along with the adoring crowd. KODAK BLACK, playing his first-ever European festival, GLORILLA, NLE CHOPPA, JID, who brought out SKI MASK THE SLUMP GOD for “Costa Rica,” and more led the contingent of American stars, which also included red hot risers like 2023 XXL Freshmen LOLA BROOKE and 2RARE and R&B chanteuse MARIAH THE SCIENTIST. The final day of Rolling Loud Portugal 2023 was a vibrant celebration of global hip-hop, closing the three-day festival with spectacular flair. The final headliner was MEEK MILL, whose motivational anthems lit up the night sky, who followed a star-studded lineup featuring UK stars like DIGGA D, D-BLOCK EUROPE, TION WAYNE and UNKNOWN T and American names including GUCCI MANE and SKI MASK THE SLUMP GOD.
