Provinssi Festival adds 24 new names for 2023!

Provinssi Festival Finland 2023 news

The most recent addition to the foreign repertoire is the British electropop artist GEORGIA, who is currently preparing for the release of the sequel to her award-winning “Seeking Thrills” album. The Provinssi line up is completed by KYYRIA and INDICA, who made a comeback this year and will play one of their first comeback gigs in Törnävä. The VON HERTZEN BROTHERS play a unique acoustic concert on the intimate Amphitheater stage at Provinssi Festival. Other new additions are YEBOAH and KISSA, who have just released new music and ISAAC SENE, an R&B artist from UMK who has become the talk of the whole nation, who will perform on Törnävänsaari.

Provinssi continues the glorious tradition that has been going on since 1979 by presenting current and up-and-coming names from all sides of the indie scene without bias. ELSI SLOAN, one of the most promising surprises of the year, KRISTIINA, who is bursting with power pop, TY ROXY, who is active in numerous indie bands and VILMA JÄÄ, who flavors electropop with folk music, complete the already extensive program coverage. The punk side is represented by PUHELINSEKSI and LIKAISET PIKKARIT and the techno pump BUSINESS CITY. EMMA & MATILDA, who describe their music as bedroom folk, VIMMA, who plays poetic ethno with a prog tone, and singer-songwriter ERIKA SIROLA offer a calmer expression.

BENJAMIN, known from UMK, also strengthens the pop coverage. The hip-hop program is completed by the top performers BÄMÄ, SLANI and NCO. Local musical expertise is represented by ANTIVALENT playing melodic alternative rock and CHRONOFORM and MEMOREMAINS playing heavier metal.
