PARCELS are confirmed on the first day of NOS Alive to perform on the Heineken Stage. The Australian quintet joins those already confirmed for this day ARCADE FIRE, THE SMASHING PUMPKINS, BENJAMIN CLEMENTINE, JESSIE WARE, BLACK PUMAS, NOTHING BUT THIEVES, KENYA GRACE and UNKNOWN MORTAL ORCHESTRA.

Originally formed in Byron Bay, Australia, in 2014, PARCELS are currently based in Berlin, Germany, and the band’s lineup consists of keyboardist Louie Swain, keyboardist / guitarist Patrick Hetherington, bassist Noah Hill, drummer Anatole “Toto ” Serret and guitarist Jules Crommelin.

PARCELS are a formidable unit as a live band and completed their biggest tour to date last year, playing sold-out shows and festivals around the world, including the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles and New York’s SummerStage in Central Park. . The band’s most recent UK shows were hailed as “a deft display of live mastery” in NME’s 5-star review of their Islington Academy show, adding: “you simply have to see this band live.”


THE CAT EMPIRE, Australian icons, make their debut at Passeio Marítimo de Algés on the last day of NOS Alive’24, on the Heineken Stage.

Australian icons, THE CAT EMPIRE have had an illustrious career, spanning multiple decades and genres, lighting up stages around the world with a magnetic force that has captivated millions of fans with their energetic performances accompanied by explosive sounds and visuals.

In 2023 they released Where The Angels Fall, which reached #5 in the ARIA charts, along with a series of sold-out shows in the UK, Europe, Australia and North America. Across the 14 tracks, there is a mix of international sounds and styles, including Afro-Cuban, flamenco, Brazilian, West African, reggae, New Orleans jazz, mariachi, Polynesian and reggaeton, among many others, while paying homage to their hometown, Melbourne.

Continuing the legacy and being the driving force behind the band’s new era are Felix Riebl and Ollie McGill, two of the group’s three original founding members. Exploring a sense of musical curiosity with endless possibilities, this newfound spirit further illuminates the band’s exuberant musicianship, elevating their sound and broadening their influences. On the live circuit, THE CAT EMPIRE’s new show celebrates movement, vitality and youthfulness – with a series of new songs, as well as audience favourites.

SOFI TUKKER are the new confirmation for July 13th on the Heineken Stage. The North American duo arrives at Passeio Marítimo de Algés to perform at the 16th edition of NOS Alive.

SOFI TUKKER is Sophie Hawley-Weld & Tucker Halpern – best friends with a global reputation as the most vibrant, positive and inclusive dance music group in existence. The duo met their senior year at Brown University, where Tucker was a basketball athlete and Sophie was studying conflict resolution and Brazilian Portuguese. In 2015, they released their debut single “Drinkee”, which was nominated for a GRAMMY®, followed by a 2nd nomination for their debut album Treehouse. Since then, they have achieved Platinum and Gold album sales, multiple #1 albums, over a billion streams and campaigns for Apple (“Best Friend”), Peloton (“Purple Hat”) and Smartwater (“Wet Tennis”) . In 2023, Tucker & Sophie were the faces of G-Star’s colorful Raw & Baboon to the Moon collections, and the continuation of their own fashion brand, WET TENNIS – also the name of their 2nd studio album.

His new single “Jacaré” is a celebration of Brazil and the LGBTQ+ community, with lyrics by Brazilian poet Chacal. The duo has collaborated with artists from all over the world, such as Amadou & Mariam, Mahmut Orhan, Bomba Estéreo & Pabllo Vittar. In the first half of 2023, they released “Sacrifice” with Kx5 (Kaskade & Deadmau5) and contributed two songs to LP Giobbi’s debut album.
