Paolo Nutini & Dogstar confirmed for INmusic Festival 2024

Dogstar confirmed for INmusic Festival Croatia 2024

Adored Scottish composer, PAOLO NUTINI, is returning to Zagreb after almost a decade to the INmusic festival stage in June 2024!

PAOLO NUTINI, the praised Scottish singer-songwriter has been blessed with a soulful, passionate voice, and the natural gift of musical storytelling. His deep, whiskey-tinged voice, brings an original blend of the golden and modern musical eras to create something original, captivating, and contemporary. His debut album ‘These Streets’, released in 2006, was an instant sensation upon its arrival and made a spectacular Top 3 UK chart entry amidst a flurry of critical acclaim. The album gained recognition as a pivotal studio release which still inspires audiences to this day, awarded in 2023 with the ‘Modern Scottish Classic Award’. His second album, ‘Sunny Side Up’ (2009), received unanimous praise from critics and won the hearts of the audience. Nutini’s third studio album, ‘Caustic Love’ from 2014, is considered by many to be his best and most mature work, characterized by a retro-soul sound.`

A truly charismatic live performer, PAOLO NUTINI’s charming and flawless concert at INmusic festival 2015 left the audience in awe and patiently waiting for his return to Croatia. Nine years later the long awaited return is around the corner –  PAOLO NUTINI will return to the green isles of lake Jarun at INmusic festival #16 in June of 2024!

The next addition to the 2024 INmusic Festival line up are rock band DOGSTAR who join the already impressive INmusic festival #16 lineup alongside previously announced performances by THE SMASHING PUMPKINS, THE NATIONAL, HOZIER, PAOLO NUTINI, VIAGRA BOYS and many more!

Here in 2023, DOGSTAR epitomize the quintessential Southern California storytelling rock band they’ve always been in their hearts, making deeply resonant music that literally comes from ‘Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees’ – the name of their new album which arrived October 6th, 2023 via their own label Dillon Street Records (distributed through ADA). Comprised of guitarist/vocalist Bret Domrose, drummer Robert Mailhouse and bassist Keanu Reeves, DOGSTAR was born in 1991 as a band of friends who came together in a garage in Southern California and simply dreamed of playing music together and making a little noise.

Now, all these years later, Domrose, Mailhouse and Reeves took some time at the tail end of an historic lockdown to create this collection of songs that fully encompasses who they are as artists today. The happily reunited rock trio’s official return came in May 2023 – more than 20 years since their last performance together – with their first public performance at the BottleRock Napa Valley music festival with a set that sparked fan and critical praise alike, including the live debut of their lead single “Everything Turns Around,” which was officially released on July 19.

During 2024, DOGSTAR will head “over the big pond” and into Europe with their rock’n’roll whirlwind. They are coming to Croatia for the first time as part of the impressive program of INmusic festival #16 in June 2024 along with many other amazing artists! Their charming take on grunge with a rocker background will surely resonate with audiences!
