More than 60,000 visitors celebrated peacefully and exuberantly this weekend at Lollapalooza Berlin. In midsummer temperatures, fans and artists celebrated the seventh edition of the iconic festival and made the event the acclaimed season finale of the open-air summer. At the end, the organizers announced the date for next year. On 7th and 8th of September 2024, Lollapalooza Berlin will reunite with all festival fans at the olympic stadium and olympic park. The presale for the Early Bird tickets will start soon.
This year, Lollapalooza Berlin presented a diverse, colorful and high-quality line-up. On Saturday, spectacular performances by top acts like MUMFORD & SONS, DAVID GUETTA, AVA MAX, ZARA LARSSON, ALLIGATOAH and THE BLAZE created a euphoric atmosphere. Local chart toppers AYLIVA, DOMIZIANA and SKI AGGU delivered energetic and unforgettable open-air moments to their fans.
Sunday crowned the festival weekend with shows by international superstars like IMAGINE DRAGONS, MACKLEMORE and JASON DERULO. Another highlight was delivered by K-Pop star B.I with his rousing performance. Hot newcomers such as LINA, ANAÏS, BABY B3NS and MARIE BOTHMER drew fans to the stages in droves.
Away from the music, Lollapalooza Berlin once again offered its audience a world of artistry, art, fashion and sustainability. The experience worlds Fun Fair, Fashionpalooza, Kidzapalooza and Der Grüne Kiez (Green hood) inspired the audience with diversity and creativity, while creating spaces for exchange and encounters.
Last year, Lollapalooza Berlin started the process for sustainable event management and in spring 2023 became the first festival in Germany to receive DIN ISO 20121 certification. With the independent certification, the festival prioritizes the growing challenges in the field of sustainability and takes responsibility for the future. In the last 18 months, Lollapalooza Berlin has introduced over one hundred and seventy sustainability measures and is constantly developing this process.
