Joining METALLICA on Thursday will be the mighty ALTER BRIDGE. Fresh off the back of their latest album release, ‘Pawns & Kings’, organisers can’t wait to rock out to the new tracks. You might have seen FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH on the bill for Metallica’s recently announced world tour – and organisers are stoked to announce that the kings of modern heavy metal will be joining us at Download too!
Organisers are excited to welcome back Download favourites HALESTORM! The band have been racking up rave reviews for their new album ‘Back From The Dead’ – and Lzzy Hale has never sounded so good.
Also joining Thursday’s line up: PERTURBATOR, JINJER, MAMMOTH WVH, THE BRONX, MOM JEANS, FEARLESS VAMPIRE KILLERS, TIGRESS, A.A WILLIAMS, CASKETS and MIMI BARKS.
Download organisers can’t stop streaming NECK DEEP‘S brand new single, ‘Heartbreak Of The Century’ here at Download HQ. Here’s hoping we get to hear more new tracks when they take the stage on Friday! CARPENTER BRUT will be making his Donington debut this summer. The French darksynth artist has said his live performances are inspired by Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails – so we reckon it’ll be huge.

CLUTCH have been making music for over 30 years, and if their latest album ‘Sunrise On Slaughter Beach’ is anything to go by, they’re not slowing down any time soon. We can’t wait to welcome the rock veterans at our special 20th anniversary celebration this summer! ICE NINE KILLS fans will be thrilled to hear that the band are bringing their notorious brand of horror metal back to Donington! Not checking these guys out would certainly be ‘A Grave Mistake’

If you’re looking to party the way only Downloaders can, you won’t wanna miss ELECTRIC CALLBOY. The German electronicore band have taken the internet by storm, and for good reason. All together now: “HYPA HYPA, YOU’RE PRETTY AND I LIKE YA…” Also joining the line up are THE HU – a band you’ve gotta see to believe. They combine folk metal with traditional Mongolian throat singing and instruments, and it’s absolutely killer.
