MACHINE GUN KELLY will debut at NOS Alive. This is Colson Baker’s first time in Portugal, who will perform at Palco NOS on July 8th of the 15th edition of the festival.
Colson is an atomic force in music, entertainment, film and fashion, and already has a GRAMMY® nomination. In 2020, he exceeded expectations with the release of a rock/pop-punk album, Tickets to My Downfall, widely acclaimed by critics. Achieving platinum status, the album topped the Billboard 200 chart and became their first #1 album.
In 2022, with the launch of mainstream sellout his second album to reach number one on the Billboard 200, MACHINE GUN KELLY consolidated his status as a top charting artist. Nominated for a GRAMMY® for Best Rock Album for the 2023 ceremony, it had a sold-out tour in stadiums and arenas in North America and Europe. The U.S. tour ended in his hometown of Cleveland at FirstEnergy Stadium with a maximum capacity crowd of 50,000, making him the first and only Ohio native to sell out the stadium.
The artist has a record 45 entries on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart, the highest number achieved by a solo artist. For his contributions to the music industry, MGK has been named to the 2022 Time 100 Next, a list that pays tribute to the leaders of the future around the world who shape and define the next generation of leaders.
XINOBI LIVE is another new confirmation for the day July 6th on the Heineken Stage of the 15th edition of the festival.
XINOBI is part of a generation of electronic music artists who grew up in the midst of the eruption of music blogs, fueled by the ethic of do it yourself that the punk rock school brought him. Together with his friends Moullinex and Mr. Mitsuhirato, he created the influential Discotexas, an ever-changing label and artist collective.
In 2022 he launched Balsame which is based on idiosyncratic derivations of house music and tells us about healing and building together; unity and communion, realistic utopias, equal rights, and pacifying perspectives for humanity.
2023 will serve as a more pure and hard dance music-oriented moment with 3 EPS ready to come out even before the summer. “Anguilla Buella” in collaboration with Meta_, “Dinosaurs” and “Waiting for”
LINDA MARTINI join the line up on July 7th at the NOS Stage of the 15th edition of the festival.
LINDA MARTINI is an unavoidable band from the Portuguese music of the last 20 years. Composed by André Henriques – voice and guitar, Claudia Guerreiro – bass and choirs, Hélio Morais – drums and choirs, and Rui Carvalho – guitars, they drag small crowds to their concerts since 2003. Whether on theater tours, or at the biggest national festivals where they are a regular presence, or with their own productions at venues such as Coliseus and Campo Pequeno, they never forget their roots, with one foot in punk and the other in hardcore.
Over two decades they have cemented a fervent cult following from north to south of the country; their concerts are true moments of communion, where audience and band celebrate and sing in unison their most iconic songs.
Year after year, the band has been feeding this cult following with accurate records, always very well received by the critics.
