Lime Cordiale present climate-focused Lime Green Festival

Australia Lime Cordial play Green Festival 2026

Lovable brotherly duo Oli and Louis Leimbach of Lime Cordiale are fiercely passionate about two things –  live music and the environment. They have been busily working on an initiative to bring these two passions together, today announcing the Lime Green Festival.

In partnership with Chugg Music, Lime Green Festival is a bold experiment in what the future of live music can look like when climate action is placed at the centre of the experience. Designed as a 100% off-grid event, the festival is built on a commitment to reducing environmental impact while still delivering a vibrant, high-quality day of music, culture and connection.

Taking place in Adelaide on 18 April at Point Malcolm Reserve, Lime Green is more than just a music festival.

It is a community-driven, forward-thinking platform that invites audiences to engage, learn and imagine new possibilities for how live events can operate in a more regenerative way. Lime Cordiale are striving to make this work off grid and believe it’s a model that can be successful in regional SA – or anywhere in Australia!

From the accelerating loss of polar ice to the devastating algal blooms currently choking the South Australian coast, it is impossible to ignore that our climate is at a breaking point. For the last five years, we’ve wrestled with a deep, personal dilemma as environmentalists: Is our touring contributing to the problem? Does it still make sense in a world that’s hurting? Should we continue to tour at all?

We’ve decided that the answer isn’t to stop, but to change. Live music is about the vital connection between people, and we believe that connection is exactly what we need to fuel a new way of doing things. Our aim is to stage the greenest music festival Australia has ever seen—rethinking everything from renewable stage power and transport to how we handle food and human waste – Oli and Louis

he Lime Green Festival will feature a carefully balanced program of live performances, inspiring talks, interactive workshops and activations that spotlight community and business leaders and innovators from the growing regenerative movement.

The music line-up boasts established Australian talent, along with pathways to showcase emerging and local artists, featuring: LIME CORDIALE – THE DREGGS – ALEKSIAH – PASH – PLUS TRIPLE J UNEARTHED WINNER

LIME CORDIALE formed as a duo in their teenage years in 2009, with brothers Oli and Louis releasing their debut EP in 2012.  They’ve gone on to release multiple albums, boast 12 ARIA nominations and 2 wins, and have toured the world relentlessly. With smash albums including 14 Steps To A Better You and Enough Of The Sweet Talk, Lime Cordiale deliver incredible energy to their colourful live show with tracks like “Robbery”, “Inappropriate Behaviour”, “Facts Of Life” and “Colin” bringing an infectious joy to the crowd.

A staple in Australia’s thriving indie-folk scene, THE DREGGS have rapidly become one of the country’s most exciting live acts. From pub gigs between surf sessions in their hometown on the Sunshine Coast, to selling out crowds across Australia and beyond, The Dreggs offer high energy, sing along shows whenever they hit the stage.

2025 saw a year of back-to-back pop smash hits released by Adelaide singer songwriter ALEKSIAH, who has spent the last 12 months touring the world, garnering industry praise and a plethora of adoring fans alike. She has taken to the stage at Primavera Pro, has supported artists including Kelsea Ballerini and Midnight Till Morning and sold out her own headline shows in London and across Europe.

Up and coming local four piece PASH describe themselves as the sonic love child of INXS and The 1975. They have had a fast paced rise, quickly building a dedicated fan base and signing a global distribution deal and have plenty in the pipeline for 2026.

Championing emerging talent, Lime Cordiale are offering opportunities for local artists to take to the stage, with one spot for an artist that they will hand pick, another through the partnership with triple j’s Unearthed program and a final spot to be determined by event sponsor City of Charles Sturt.
