Two big British names, an iconic nerd rock group, two Danish pop comets and a NY-based pop-punk project make up the next 6 artists on the bill for NorthSide 2025!
JAMES BLAKE is the man everyone wants to get their hands on. The dreamy producer and songwriter has burned himself into the common music consciousness with his seductive voice and an indispensable feel for productions. Both as a solo artist and collaborator with artists such as Beyoncé, Frank Ocean and Travis Scott, he has revolutionized the sound of modern music with his unique ability to find the intimate in the magnificent – and the complex in the simple. JAMES BLAKE is currently releasing his new single “Like The End”, so who knows – he might have a brand new album under his belt when he comes to NorthSide this summer.
THE MINDS OF 99 ready for NorthSide 2025! Since 2019, they have been the most requested act at the festival by far, and with three sold-out shows at Parken in 2024, they put two bold lines under their position as Denmark’s biggest rock band right now. Now, THE MINDS OF 99 are ready to take over Eskelunden during next year’s edition of NorthSide.
THE MINDS OF 99 are a veritable musical firework that has conquered the entire country with their explosive mix of rock, synth-pop and electronic beats.
From the groundbreaking debut album The Minds of 99 to the critically acclaimed Liber and on to Solkongen, which went double platinum, the quintet of childhood friends has set new standards for how big a band can become in Denmark. With Infinity Action from January 2022, they set a new record – the album went platinum in just 3½ months, thanks in part to the huge hit ‘Under Din Sne’. The band also delivered the biggest indoor tour ever, selling 147,000 tickets and filling the Parken three times with their heady shows in June.
Ready to be blown away by one of the world’s strongest production teams? Then get ready for CHASE & STATUS in Eskelunden. Drum and bass, dubstep and heavy hip-hop beats are guaranteed when the two heavyweights go all 12 rounds on stage this summer. The duo is behind some of the most hard-hitting productions from the last decade, made together with artists such as CeeLo Green, Rihanna and Stormzy.
Nerd rock is still going strong. 30 years after their debut with “Blue Album”, WEEZER is still touring the world with their catchy songs full of thoughtful lyrics, rock-solid riffs and melodies that just demand that you scream along when the Americans visit Eskelunden in June.
Today’s lineup also features solid Danish artists. One of them is SAVEUS, who with his electronic pop, magnificent gospel choirs and heavy beats guarantees both celebration and community.
