Ikarus Festival is already looking ahead to summer 2027, with tickets now on sale and the first artists confirmed for what promises to be another huge weekend of electronic music in southern Germany.
The festival will return to the former military airfield at Allgäu Airport in Memmingen from 25th – 27th June 2027. In a change from previous years, Ikarus will no longer take place over the Pentecost weekend, with the new June date chosen in the hope of bringing warmer, more settled summer weather to the festival.
Now entering its 13th year, Ikarus has grown into one of southern Germany’s biggest camping festivals. More than 120,000 people are expected to make the trip to Memmingen in 2027, with over 150 artists set to perform across eight stages.
The festival is also entering a new era visually, unveiling a completely redesigned identity alongside the new slogan, “Dare To Fly”. Inspired by the festival’s unusual setting on a former military airfield, the new campaign reflects the sense of adventure at the heart of Ikarus. The idea is simple: leave the everyday behind, push your boundaries and spend three days completely immersed in the festival experience.
The first names on the 2027 line-up have also been revealed, with BUNT. returning after a successful appearance at this year’s festival. Known for combining electronic production with his distinctive folk-house sound, BUNT. has built a growing international following and should be a particularly strong fit for the open-air setting.
Also confirmed is TREAM, whose music brings together hip-hop, German pop and party influences. With a reputation for energetic live shows, he will add another dimension to a line-up that promises to stretch across the electronic music spectrum.
And there is plenty more to come. Ikarus says additional artists will be announced over the coming months, meaning the first wave is only a taste of what is being planned for 2027.
The festival is also introducing a new Young Festival Pass aimed at fans aged 18 to 21. The limited ticket includes entry for the full three-day festival as well as camping, giving younger festivalgoers a more affordable way to experience the entire Ikarus weekend.
With a new date, a new visual identity and the first artists already on board, Ikarus 2027 feels like the start of a new chapter for one of Germany’s biggest electronic festivals.
