Hoofbeat Festival is heading into its 40th anniversary year with a line-up that brings together some of the biggest names in modern country, established favourites and a new generation of artists.
Taking place from June 24th to 26th 2027, in Cadott, Wisconsin, Hoofbeat is marking four decades of the festival with the appropriately named “40 Years Wild” celebration. Across three days, more than 45 artists will perform across five stages, with the 2027 line-up featuring a mixture of country, country-rock and Americana sounds.
And there are some particularly big names at the top of the bill!
RASCAL FLATTS RETURN TO HOOFBEAT
One of the biggest talking points is the return of RASCAL FLATTS, who will headline Friday night.
Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney last appeared at the festival back in 2015, when it was still known as Country Fest. Their return for the 40th anniversary edition gives the 2027 event a nice connection to its own history. The trio have been responsible for some of the most recognisable country hits of the last two decades, including Life Is a Highway, Bless the Broken Road, My Wish, Fast Cars and Freedom and What Hurts the Most.
For anyone who remembers the band from their earlier appearances at the festival, it is a chance to see them back on the same Wisconsin stage more than a decade later.
PARKER MCCOLLUM MAKES HIS HOOFBEAT DEBUT
Thursday’s headline slot belongs to PARKER MCCOLLUM, who will be making his Hoofbeat Festival debut.
McCollum has become one of the more prominent names in contemporary country, balancing traditional country influences with a modern sound. His catalogue includes Pretty Heart, To Be Loved By You, Handle On You and Burn It Down. His self-titled album also picked up the 2026 ACM Award for Album of the Year, adding another significant milestone to an already impressive run.
McCollum will headline a Thursday bill that also features LAUREN ALAINA, CLAY WALKER, MAX MCNOWN, BAYKER BLANKENSHIP, GREYLAN JAMES, WYNN WILLIAMS and HIGHWAY HOME.
HARDY BRINGS THE COUNTRY-ROCK ON SATURDAY
Saturday night takes a different direction with HARDY closing out the main weekend. Known for pushing country towards a heavier rock sound, HARDY has built a reputation for live shows that sit somewhere between Nashville country and southern rock.
He will be joined on Saturday by a line-up that includes HUDSON WESTBROOK, CAMERON WHITCOMB, VINCENT MASON, MACK GEIGER, LANIE GARDNER, CHRIS KROEZE and LANDON WILKS.
JORDAN DAVIS JOINS FRIDAY’S BILL
Friday also features JORDAN DAVIS, adding another major name to a day already headlined by Rascal Flatts. Davis has become a familiar name on country radio with songs including Buy Dirt, Next Thing You Know and What My World Spins Around.
The Friday line-up is completed by COREY KENT, DYLAN MARLOWE, MACKENZIE CARPENTER, NOAH JAMES, CORI KENNEDY and MATT LANG.
HOOFBEAT CELEBRATES 40 YEARS
The 2027 festival is more than just another edition of Hoofbeat. The event dates back to 1987 and has grown into one of Wisconsin’s established country music gatherings.
The 40th anniversary gives the organisers an opportunity to look back while also putting some of the genre’s current stars at the centre of the weekend.
There is also a special Tailgate Party on Wednesday June 23 for three-day ticket holders, featuring DAVID LEE MURPHY, OVERSERVED AGAIN, DIRTY PRESCOTT KIDS, JORDAN BLANCHARD and more.
With thousands of campsites, multiple stages and three days of music, camping remains a major part of the Hoofbeat experience.
With RASCAL FLATTS returning, PARKER MCCOLLUM making his first appearance and HARDY taking the Saturday headline slot, Hoofbeat Festival’s 40th anniversary has plenty to give country fans a reason to make the trip to Cadott in 2027.
